Usually there is no straight forward answer to this, so, while doing our own Amarok exhaust we put together this (non scientific) test to hopefully explain the difference between each option we offer...

Waiting for the no DPF + stock exhaust! I think the "good sound" comes mostly from there. Removing silencers just give decibels, but removing dpf is what gives "the note"!!

Stock makes the noise of the ash vacuum that I use to clean the pellet stove lol
It would be super nice to have backpressure reduction shown as you are removing parts.

Is there any power benefits to changing the exhaust? With it being a tow vehicle what bhp are you running and what's mpg like?
Our standard 204bhp one is super thirsty
Stock exhaust will do 400hp+ easily. 25mpg around town. 30 on a steady run and 15 towing a big trailer!

With the DPF in place it's not much difference if you take all the exhaust off!

Make some traction bars for it if it’s gonna be towing heavy, tame that axel wrap down
The side shift is noticeable, might need to stick a camera under there when towing!
wish I knew they made a tool for exhaust rubbers... I'm not exactly the lightest man around but I was hanging off of mine and the bugger still wasn't having any of it! I might be an adult now but I still had to ring my dad 🤣

Any chance of some “flyby” clips at full chat, particularly in the final noisey setup? Just had a look at your store online and couldn’t find just the “turbo cat/dpf “ section to buy as a standalone item. I have already done the rest of the exhaust but missing that yobo final stage. Is that available?

Have you considered doing a before and after dpf delete power run on the dyno.
We do them all the time, not a huge difference!

Interesting, I would assume the massive change in backpressure would result in earlier spool times and less load on the turbo, also resulting in better fuel economy too, if tuned to suit.

No
A middle muffler will do. That quietens the drone on my caddy
Turbo acts as muffler. I run straightpiped 4" 304 from turbo to right rear wheel. Free flowing intake gives is nicer roar. I like it your result.

It won't fit a 3.0, they only have a single pipe.
