at 16:30 ish you mention that the answer to a yes/no question is a 50/50. While that might be true if you observe wether some random person is a particular sex, it aint true for questions like if someone believes in God. The distribution of getting that right is kinda dependent on how much of the Population is religious. Just wanted to point that out. Like your vids anyways.

I had my handwriting analyzed once. She accused me of "knowing" handwriting analysis and purposely writing in a way to confuse her. Saying that each line I wrote appeared to have been written by a different person. I don't know handwriting analysis. I didn't try to confuse her on purpose. But... I am schizophrenic :>

This seems a bit like palm reading. They say loads of generically relatable stuff that is true and also massages the ego.....sorry but it's true. Most people would agree with this reading if it was presented as a personal analysis of them via some output.

@@Ellbat yes it's true I know people who actively seek palm readers and card readers just for some guidance but I'm more of a cause and effect guy myself. Humans do have a nature in the same way all animals do and we are still dominated mostly by instinct even if we think were not. That is the source of our confliction the cortex vs the amigdela they are both battling for control over the body, but ultimately the brain is just a threat perception machine to aid the body in survival.long enough to reproduce its genes, the cortex is like nah brah I wanna do some abstract painting and shit 😂 and ponder the details of existence.

This sounds every much like the psychic effect. Many of the things they said were fairly generic which you then applied to specific things in your life. For example, saying you were restless is an easy assumption with the virus and lockdowns going on, but you then applied it directly to them knowing you didn't work out. People tend to gloss over the misses and focus on the hits.

I love how teachers say Wikipedia is unreliable. Saying a community-driven platform is unreliable is the same as saying dictionaries have incorrect definitions. Information is based on the majority; you can’t just change any Wikipedia article and have it go through. There are numerous people who have to check your submission to allow them to go onto the site, the same way people have to agree on a definition.
No, this point was not brought up in the video, I just heard “Wikipedia” and immediately thought about this issue.
At least usually past school age, teachers will stop saying it's unreliable, and just tell you not to copy paste. The whole point is that you're supposed to look at the references and go look into the info and where it came from, and then talk about it from there. If people don't include things like references, it's more possible that the info is incorrect, even if multiple people sign it off. There's always a chance that multiple people could believe the same incorrect thing. "Wikipedia is unreliable", isn't really "Never use wikipedia", at least it isn't if people saying that have ever looked at the site.
I think with some articles you can just randomly edit and change them though

Generally, they use graphologist for forensics aka suicide notes, death threats and more! It's actually really interesting.
Being a certified Graphologist, I feel like the professional analyst gave you little service for the amount of money she charged! Also, none of them really took time to go over what they had written, some parts were too vague. I literally charge 5 pounds for both handwriting interpretation and therapy! I need to charge a little bit more 😂
Graphology is the same as tarot readings: Fun, insightful and as meaningful as you want them to be, (and not a hard science, but can be valid therapy in capable hands.) My issue with graphology is that some companies use it to filter recruitment, which has no scientific support.

When I was your age, Elena, I had an accident that caused me to lose temporary function of my left arm/hand (my dominant hand). So taught myself to use my right hand for writing, but basically I only use upper-case letters in a mock architect script. I genuinely wonder what what a graphologist would have to say about someone who isn't using their natural dominant hand....

I feel like this was a lot of ''cold reading''. Saying stuff that's pretty basic/general, which almost everyone can relate to. The same goes up for horoscopes, star signs, handpalm readings, physique readings, etc. It's still funny and entertaining though!

I used to think that til I went to an African priest (babalawo) and his ass started addressing things I NEVER speak about due to shame/embarrassment, highly personal.... my ass was shook and cut him off saying "I know what you're talking about.... no need to go further", then asked him can we talk about something else hahaha also had one more priest (another babalawo) predict a pregnancy that I completely wrote off, until it happened. You'll know the real deal when you come across it

I'd love to see you do these things with a code name and see what pops up cos I'd just stalk you on socials and then go from there instead of getting the handwriting text books out if I was an academic making easy money.
I would say that the main thing we have in common is being blunt to a fault, but the other things that popped up with their analysis are things that I like to think of myself as (hard working, empathetic etc). But I've actually got the emotional range of a teaspoon and I'm impatient with people and procrastinate like it's my job. Either that or my inner slytherin overrides my hufflepuff when I'm stressed/tired/not optimised.
Don't get me wrong - I LOVE the idea of handwriting and pyschics and fate and the universe, but it's really hard to find something LEGIT and specific. Interesting video any way really love it when you go in on stuff like this!
I think that handwriting analysis is good for telling the general things about people if they were stressed when writing, if they are relaxed while writing, if they care about how other people perceive them, things like that will probably be accurate which is good insight for criminal profiling, but beyond that nothing much else can be determined

I can change my hand writing so easily. I had a different hand writing type for every lesson. Maths was calligraphy, english, small and cursive, science was leaning to the left. Etc. I have currently 8 or so different hand writing types i can jump between

As a someone who understands how to appreciate art (I'm not an artist yet now, learned how to understand art because I'm obsessed in cute art and want to learn), it sounds like graphology is trying to forbid certain shapes due to the meaning. For example, not all people with felon's claw style are felons
There are handwriting fonts with a combination of different style each letter. And most obviously, usual korean font designers (they're usually independent designers) usually design every font with the same handwriting but with letters style changed, tilt direction, shaky or not, the i dot is normal or long line or something, stiff or not, etc. See for yourself in Samsung app store if you have a Samsung phone/tablet. If don't (or as pluses), search Korean fonts on any search engine and 폰트 on Naver
As graphology is a pseudoscience, if they're know you, the results are also depends on what they think about you. As you give them a blind test (I mean they analyze without they knowing about you), we can know if it is wrong. And unfortunately, graphology is sometimes used for psychological analysis. We can pick from Donald Trump's signature, there's a result for him in internet, pretty subjective and based on many people thinks about him
And a style of handwriting can be learned, for pretty obvious examples are the ones who like to do aesthetic notes / bullet journal, kawaii artists, and said by some article if Disneyland employees are trained to write the same handwriting
This actually really made me want to get a handwriting analysis but not to pay the money. Might just get a fiver one. Wonder what the difference would be between me now and when I used to write all my s as capital letters. Also, I feel like these were quite accurate and what I think Elena is like.

Hello Ellbat, I came across your video on my recommended as it sparked my interest; I am 16 and have dabbled in handwriting analysis, self-taught, for about 3 years. I wanted to see what other people on CZcams thought of graphology. I enjoyed your willingness to seek more about yourself within by doing this. However, I feel that you may have gotten a shoddy graphologist to analyze your handwriting, and the absurd amount of money spent for it is only unfortunate enough. I say this as I have practiced and offered analyses on numerous friends, classmates, and family (the practice itself is is a crowd-pleaser), and the way this certain professional analyzed yours was far too broad, lacks deeper insight, and brings me much distaste. Graphology is a niche skill, and while it may be considered psuedoscience, I find that the world of graphology delves far deeper than what this professional could show, already poorly enough. It is clear to me that they did not scrutinize the nuances of formations of letters, connections, sentences, slants, proportions, pressure, size, spacings, and much else. All of these have to be viewed in both in the big picture and little details, drawing traits together to form a coherent interpretation. A good graphologist would tie these traits together verbally so that the recipient can fully grasp them, see them in true color, and not as an elusive reading dealt like tarot or astrology. I am no professional, but all of my analyses have been consistently accurate for each individual I have practiced on. It is true that the professional's interpretation comes off as an astrology read, but I find it a bit upsetting that putting bad graphologists as the face for graphology in this video will negatively affect other people's perception of it. However, it is well to have a healthy dose of skepticism when coming across these "professionals" with ridiculous paywalls. Hopefully you may reconsider.

depending on who you ask, everyone will take something out of one of these readings and think it applies - everything is so broad that it's hard to call it wrong, and the more specific things are based off stereotypes (disciplinarian father - stereotypically fathers are more likely to be a disciplinarian and it's more likely to be a father than a mother) - if they're right, people will read into it ("being restless" turned into the fact you hadn't exercised since lockdown started hahaha), if they're wrong, people will either justify it and try and find a way it applies, or ignore it and move on (this is why longer readings are better, there's more chance to get things wrong as well as right but because there are more right things than in a shorter reading it's easier to ignore the wrong things because there are 10 things someone thinks applies to them - shorter readings are a lot harder to ignore if they get a couple of things wrong)
also "lonely and isolated"... we're in isolation, most people are restless, everything they both said along that line is definitely because we're in isolation, people want company, want time to themself, fear for the future, are restless, need to clear their mind, are lonely - there's a high chance anyone can pick out at least one thing and relate to it

Yes, I read Tarot, runes, gypsy & a little palmistry; MOST of what they told you were 'generic' statements that may/may not come 'up' for every person, for the most part... However, like 'fortune-telling' what appears for that individual is to ASSIST that persons' conscious/subconscious into awareness~ When I do readings (I DON'T charge, btw) it IS interesting how more often than not, my gypsy will point out SOMETHING 'major' and then that focus replicates in the Tarot & ties them together!

A lot of the things the first analysis said was basically common sense. Stir-crazy during a lockdown -- who wouldn't be? Not exercising during lockdown -- ditto, very likely. The person would also be able to figure out you're a public person (given you have a CZcams channel) pretty quickly, and then added the bits about wanting "notoriety", wanting to stand out, seeming confident but not necessarily being so and whatnot. Same with looking at your other social media and then figuring out you're outspoken and having strong opinions about things you're passionate about, etc.
All in all, pretty on par with what I expect from a "specialist" in a pseudoscience: cold reading (of a sort), broad statements based on common sense and likelihood, so on and so forth. Regardless of that, however, it was pretty fun video. :)
Interesting - I've never thought there was anything to graphology. I'd hate to think what mine would turn up lol. Seriously, you gave the best explanation of being an empath I've ever heard. Thanks for putting into words why I've been sitting here all day trying not to cry when I have no objective reason to do so. Have you thought of doing this for astrological charts?

i actually use computer font hand writing because my hand writing was super unreadable before that. This kind of unified my writing and makes it readable for people :D

My handwriting is so nice. I get compliments all the time on both my print and my cursive writing. I went to school when you still got a grade for handwriting and were taught cursive. They don't do that nowadays.
