@@johnvargasiv2886 wait you don’t?
chase it with another sauce from Vietnam called nuoc mam or fish sauce lol
My first encounter with Siracha was when I was eating lunch with a buddy of mine back when I was a teen in the 90s. His mom made these awesome Chinese dumplings with noodles and my buddy pushed this bottle in front of me. I put a few drops in, stirred it up, and took a taste. Then I put about 4 dashes of the sauce in until the broth was pink. The heat snuck up on me quickly, but it tasted good!
She made me pissed because She forgot to mention that the story behind the siracha sause is actually a thai recipe from the small town in thailand i actually live here :)
Oliver Explores now we know where you live great
It's called how its made not a history lesson. Nobody cares about sriracha town.
The founder of Rooster Sauce didn't base it on your hometown, he based it off the traditional Thai dipping sauce of the same name. I have tried various types of Thai Sriracha and they were all different in many ways. Some more oily, others way too hot and it overshadows the food more than accentuating it.
No you don’t! Lol
Lol, Thai always want to achieve something not belonging to them.
I never used to eat spicy food and I didn't like chili at all, at least until I tried Sriracha!
I'm a bit disappointed this video doesn't cover the fact that David Tran is "NOT" the inventor of this style of hot sauce.
Sriracha sauce was actually invented in Sriracha town, Thailand decades ago, long before he took the name, the recipe, though with some small adaptation, and started introducing it in the US.
As a Thai growing up eating Thai Sriracha for decades, I get pissed every time some ignorant people claiming rooster brand "the original" while calling other Thai Sriracha brands copycat.

sriracha is made by bang chan who is the dorky leader of stray kids
Amiel Apelyido understand when you say
Omg yessss
A lot of people say Sriracha isn't that spicy, but it is for me. It's not every single time I put the sauce, so I'm guessing factors weigh in (the food is still hot when I eat or I put too much.) But so many people act like it's ranch dressing or something. Mind you, I love spicy food, there are so many other foods that are supposed to be spicier than Sriracha that I can handle better with.
a meal is never complete without sriracha :)
I put siracha on everything including ice cream. DONT ew me! You know your going to try it now.

I LOVE SIRACHA ITS AMAZINGGGGG
I used to hate this sriracha sauce until I tried the real original rooster brand sriracha!! I first had it at taco bell, subway, and other places who make their own kind of cheap fake knock off sriracha sauce which was always just awful! Then one night I tried an off brand bottle of sriracha at my parents house and it was even worse tasting!!! Years later after all the hype I figured I would give it one more chance and finally bought a bottle of the real deal rooster original at the store and omg it was/is just amazing!! Its totally different than all the others! Perfect flavor and heat combo, and its the best "hot" sauce I have ever had hands down and ive tried thousands!! Just love that fresh REAL pepper taste that no other hot sauce has... I avoided and was deprived of good real sriracha for years because of all the cheap nasty fakes that taste nothing like the real deal original!!! Please don't let that happen to you!!!
Nick Hall how about the sriracha sauce from Panda Express is that the same one on this one
@@MrGabito88 never tried it at panda express didn't even know they had any siracha... Don't think I would like siracha on Chinese unless it was put on some particular dish that would maybe kinda go with it.... Next time I'm their I'll ask for some to try
Nick Hall try it with chicken dishes. It’s amazing
@@MrGabito88 No, Panda's chili sauce is a bit spicier and not as sweet as sriracha. Panda's chili sauce is more like the bottled chili paste you can find in the asian section of your local supermarket.
@@Razzy1312 yeah it spicier
i come from a town in Thailand called sriracha 😱
Watching this during the shortage. Man all those bottles would fetch a mint on eBay right now.
Eating it on my popcorn rn.
Actually Sriracha is a district in Chonburi Province, Thailand and in Thailand have Sriracha sauce since1950. But real owner can’t register a patent because government and DIP (Department of intellectual property) in Thailand said
“The word "Sriracha" is the name of an district in Chonburi province. This is a geographical name under Thai and foreign trademark laws and cannot be registered as a trademark and holds the sole right. But operators can use the word as part of the trademark.”
That’s why Thai don’t have copyright.

I had no idea about how the bottles were made but that blew my mind! They're stored in a small form factor to conserve space and then they blow it up like a balloon.
Plastic soda bottles are tiny nubs of plastic as small as my thumb
Before its blown up filled with $0.14 worth of sugar water sold for
$2.00 comsumed then tossed into a landfill
To take 75 million yrs to decompose
He may found his version but siracha is originally from Thailand and real original siracha is still selling
I'm here watching this on the toilet due to Sriracha. 😅
great value how its made
The happiest place on earth!!!

Haha... Yeah... "Rooster" sauce
Eating spam with sriracha right now and it's so good!
Lol same
It's soooo good
This is a better video then food insider
I hope they get back upnand going! I miss it
I just don't understand why the bottle which I'm staring at right now , says total sugars is 0 grams, yet it says sugar in the ingredients and you can actually taste the sugar in there.
It's because the serving size is so small and if the amount is under a certain threshold, they're allowed to say zero. Of course if you eat six servings, you are in fact getting at least one gram of sugar!
I DECLARE SRIRACHA SAUCE ADDICTION !!!!
So they don't remove the pedicle (stalk) before throwing it into the grinder?
I put it on my caramel corn delectable 😀
Only if I lived closer I would apply for a job. I basically do the same with Heinz Ketchup.
Oh yes Sriracha goodness mmm talking about sriracha I have some in the refrigerator waiting for me to eat it yes the same product that you are reviewing in this video tuong 28oz

How sriracha is made...
We can´t tell you
My mom, sister, and I bamboozled ourselves because we thought it was Vietnamese (since Huy Fong, the brand we use, was named after a Vietnamese train) and my dad who was from Thailand was right all along. 😔
Yea well the Vietnamese adopted it
Its used in more bowls of pho than chinese dishes.

So, is this considered to be a fermented sauce? Or just pickled peppers in vinegar?
they use fresh garlic or garlic powder? thanks.
David parody where are you?😂😂😂😂❤️
oh... by the way, Sriracha is a district in Cholburi province Thailand where the original Sriracha sauce was invented.
Oh please! And stop claiming Thailand invented fish sauce too. Don't take credit when it's not yours.

This sounds like the must cheap way possible to make a sauce , I bet every bottle costs less than 50 cents to make

Hi I understood you to say plants received 21 tons a day, that's 42,000 thousand pounds, that's not a lot to peppers to make the volume it would take to supply the world.
Sriracha is not fermented?

So is it a brand of hot sauce or just hot sauce?
sriracha is just a style of hot sauce like you have your ice cream and your gelato and your frozen yogurt. just a certain type.
Sriracha is the style of hot sauce originated in Thailand. In Thailand there are dozen of brands for Sriracha. The popular american one is Huy Fong brand.

Seems like a gross oversimplification since the seeds/skin/stems don't magically disappear from the finished product.
yea what happened to the seeds?
