    I love watching how people set up their stalls. I don't have the confidence to do a market. I would love to see a tutorial on how you make the bandanas and wristlets if you ever get time xx

      Thank you! I am definitely a lot more confident now and prouder with my stall now that I have improved it over the years. But they are the best thing!! Definitely recommend if you are interested, start with the smaller community markets. And of course! I will add them to the list of potential videos xx

    This is what you need to do first before having an actual business. It’s because you want to see the customers’ choices and which are popular and unpopular

      Markets definitely show a different side of your customer base! I always notice the popular products at markets may be similar to other markets but are completing different to the popular products online. So interesting!!

    Your market set up is beautiful! Thank you for sharing I always enjoy seeing how everyone sets up. I had my first market earlier this month and it was somewhat stressful but it ended being a great day. I would love to do more markets, I had a lot of fun. Have a wonderful day!

      Aw thank you so much for your support! I am definitely a lot happier with how it looks now but it will definitely change every market anyway ahha. So exciting!! Markets are so fun and worth the initial stress in the end! Good luck with any future ones x

      Great setup. Would love to know where you get your brown product labels from or do you make them yourself from blanks purchased. Ive seen blanks being sold on Etsy, but not sure how to do. Im just starting to make dog bandanas to add to our products. Craft shows are starting to come back. So sorry, but where are you from. You have a beautiful accent. Im from New Jersey, USA. Happy I came upon your video. You are very organized.

      Thank you!! I actually make my product labels myself using a template on word!! I'll include a little tutorial in a video soon on my channel (keep an eye out!!). I am from Melbourne, Australia. Always love hearing where everyone is watching my videos, so crazy to think its all over the world!! Best of luck with your selling xx

      Thank you so much for your support! Believe it or not, the bandana display is actually meant to be a ribbon holder I bought from spotlight! How cool! Best of luck with the market xx

    Hey! Loved this video! I’m 12 and thinking about setting up a stall for baked goods! Hopefully my parents will let me 😂
    Anyways just wondering you had any tips?

    • @HandmadeJems
      @HandmadeJems  Před rokem

      Thank you!! I have posted a few videos with tips on market stalls but the main thing would be make sure you have the right insurance and certificates (especially with baked goods) but just give it a go!! Everyone has to start from somewhere!! Best of luck x

    Hi great video, really helpful can i ask what you put in your lucky dip for prizes? Where is you bandana stand from its fab?

    • @HandmadeJems
      @HandmadeJems  Před rokem

      Thank you!! The lucky dip is called a "misfit lucky dip" which basically means i put all my scrunchies in it that have something minor wrong with them which i don't feel comfortable selling them at full price for (stitching is odd, size is off etc). I don't make much (if anything) back from the lucky dip but it's a good way to use up products and not waste them whilst having some fun at markets. The bandana stand is just from Spotlight Australia and is actually a ribbon holder!!

    Hello was just wondering I am gonna be going to a market this week so I was looking for things and I was wondering where did you get them white tablecloths?

    • @HandmadeJems
      @HandmadeJems  Před 2 lety

      So exciting!! These ones are amazing and if you search up “wedding table covers” on google there should be plenty of places that sell them, in store and online. I do know spotlight do stock them though but these particular ones were from a wedding specialist store. Hope this helps and best of luck with the market xx

    • @HandmadeJems
      @HandmadeJems  Před 5 měsíci

      My bath salts and pet bandanas are being fazed out but i was retailing them at $12-16 for bandanas and $6-18 for the bath salts (depending on the size)
