  • Jon Snow does know a few things | Game of Thrones
    No matter what Ygritte says, Jon Snow knows a few things. The bastard son of Ned Stark (or is he?) grew up in a household where he was welcomed by Ned and his half-siblings but not so much by Catelyn Stark. Can't wait to find out what he'll do in the last season! Hope you all enjoy this compilation of him 🎬😍

    Jon Snow like his uncle Ned and Benjy was a man of purest intention, not naive but fought and stood for what he believed in. His love and passion for the people and his family stood out in all the conquests he engaged in and despite being small in stature he had the fight of a thousand warriors in him

    • @actionjaxxson1749

      Oh he was very naive! The only reason he "stood out in all the conquests he engaged in" is bc he's the hero of the "story." In reality he lost almost all his battles, got tricked, played like a fiddle, disowned, disliked, killed, and banished. Even tho he literally saved the entire world from the zombies and Westeros from the "Mad Queen,' while seeking nothing for himself.
      If he wasn't the pre-ordained hero of the story, he'd have taken the black and died in very short order bc no one liked him and he was naive as all get out.

      You mean for "Ned Stark's" children, he was still a Stark because in reality he was Ned's Nephew, Lyanna Stark's Son. This is what bothers me of the entire show, just because some characters are not linked to the fathers, they are considered NOT blood relatives. Tyrion is also on this boat, The 3rd son of Joanna Lannister, whom was not only Tywin Lannister's wife, but she was already Joanna Lannister because she was Tywin's own cousin. If by any chance Tyrion may had been the Mad King's Bastard son, Tyrion was still a freaking Lannister by blood, and Jon being also a Targaryen does not change that he IS a Stark by blood either.

    Many questions the ability of Jon to be the king of Westeros. Some said tha he is too honourable or heroic to last long in the throne, some said that he was not good at politics and some said that he will grew bitter with all the lies. But the things is Jon always comes from a low position, found unsuitable for the big job and rises to the occasion every time. As a bastard,Jon was not taught in the way of leading. But he became one with his nature and advise of Ned , Benjen, Tyrion Joer Mormont, maester Aemon and Sam. He listened and applied it successfully. As a bastard, he united North with the help of Sansa. He was open minded and that brought him more allies. When he gave Allister his worthy position, many who supported Allister accepted him. He forgave two noble houses tha betrayed Starks against many advises but at the end everyone loved him for it. As a leader, Jon made tough but necessary decisions. He was betrayed and scorned for it, it's true but in the first case, Jon send his most friends away to other forts and in the second, Sansa and others didn't understand the real threat to realise the necessity of Jon's decision. But if he became a king, even if he doesn't want it, he will do his best. He will listen to the advice of people like Tyrion, Sansa and Sam. I won't say it will be easy. But I will say that he will be a great king of Westeros

    • @mamta2330
      @mamta2330 Před rokem +10

      @@llednop Jon did fulfill the prophecy. He was the prince that was promised. The dream Aegon I Targareyan had was about a prince that was promised who can unifiy the westeros to fight against a common foe (Night king and his army) that could wipe out the entire world. Even the people in the Essos knew about this that a dark cold day would arrive. For instance, if you remember from the first season, Dothraki talks about the white grass that will eventually kill all the living grass. It was refering to the Night king and his army.
      Coming back to the dream, the gods gave Aegon this dream, so he with his dragon power could unify the separate 7 kingdoms of westeros to one kingdom. Why Westeros? Because the common foe was coming from the Northern side of Westeros. Westeros was united only to stop the winter that was coming. Winter took quite some time to finally arrive and it arrived at the time of Jon Snow's generation. Poor targareyans, they didn't know the timeline during which this would occur.
      Talking about the prince prophecy, Jon Snow indeed brought all of the people together to fight against the Night King which neither Dany, nor Starks, nor Lannisters could have done even if they wanted to. If it were not for Jon, Arya would not have been able to kill the night king. Coz winterfell would have fallen down real quick with just stark army against the dead. Since the entire westeros was unified for killing the dead, the prophecy had been fulfilled and there was no point in continuing this system of true heir to the throne. It would make sense for the kingdoms to be back as they were before Aegon's conquest, independent kingdoms living with peace. The only thing I didn't understand was why Winterfell alone was left to be an independent kingdom and not the rest. Probably because no one from the respective kingdoms came forward to ask for independence like Sansa did I guess!
      And Song of Ice and Fire refers to story of two magics and the people intertwined it. One magic that originated in the North (White walkers) and the other magic in the South east, Valyria- The dragons. Ironically the prince who was promised turned out to be a combination of Ice and Fire (Stark and Targareyan).
      PS: The makers fucked up this story. I totally agree with it! They failed to give audience the time and the storyline to explain all these things clearly. Don't know what was the hurry for them to wrap the most important part of the story into one short season like crap 🤦‍♀

      @@ataharhussain5150 whats worse he was chosen as a king cause he was the one "suffered the most" like my guy was crippled thats understandable, but you jon who got stabbed til he died, saw the girl he loves get killed infront of his eyes, had to also kill the girl he loved, hell i'd even argue even arrya and sansa suffered more than bran, Bran throughout the show was arguably the most boring character out of the starks. and they made him the king
      and what was his first decison? give the north their independence, yes that doesn't seem like a way to abuse power and give your family members more power by helping them establish a new kingdom
      like when I first saw the last season I didn't understand why people hated it but that finale made me hate the show entirely

    There should have been a constructive moral victory for Jon at some point for telling Cersei he could not serve her for his oath to Dani. All the politicking game playing snobs who snubbed him for not lying to Cerce don’t get it. They would not be in that world of trouble had they known better not to play games and backstab each other. At some point someone has to take that very hard first step, to be that martyr, and say enough is enough with the bullshit.
    I would say that I agree with how the series ended. With Bran becoming king. Jon would’ve been a great king for a little while. But the games of politics would’ve grated on his soul and turned him sour. Or he would’ve turned out like Ned and just gotten his head chopped off for sheer stubborn foolishness.
