Cascada La Golondrinera | Nahuizalco | El Salvador 4K

Our next destination is Cascada La Golondrinera, near Nahuizalco, Sonsonate. It was difficult to find a place safe to park and that it was near the trail to the fall. We drove around for a while until we found a place called Cooperativa primero de Mayo. Once you get there, you will find an area where you can park for $1, it includes the guide, which you can tip him for taking you to the falls. The hike it's not difficult, but there is a section that it's steep and it could be slippery when wet. Once in the river canyon, it could be a little dirty if it has rain recently, washed down by the rain. Overall, it was a nice hike through farm fields and refreshing.
