Non-Land permanents include enchantments and artifacts...in these black lurrus decks, Mire's Grasp is a pretty big one, since you can keep using the same card to -3/-3 smaller creatures off the board. (or dead weight if you prefer 1 drops with less range of removal)
I run an esper version. I use lazav instead of omen. And run starlight mystic. Kill something with enchantment? +1/+1 counter and all enchantments are cheaper. Also, with blue if there is something to big to mires grasp I just frogify it before grasp. 2 +1/+1 counters. It's rather fun. Just run soul lantern for cycling and mirror matches
chaosmastermind Actually, the first time I ever saw Lurrus in action was not with creatures but with enchantments like Mire’s Grasp and Deadweight. Pretty effective to say the least.

@@weilien86to summarize, the nethroi he mutated onto the Krasis is legendary and the enemy was dumb enough to select the other nethroi for which one to keep

I liked how you can put only 21 land (which makes sense with a 1.7 avg cmc) and still ''flood''. And 3 fabled passages straight in starting hand because reasons.
Fabled passage is one of those cards that will inevitably find their way to your starting hand. Growth spiral also
The coolest part about mutate decks is putting the bigger creature on bottom to establish that sweet, sweet dominance.
You can add gargos to the mutate deck and fight stuff whenever you mutate

I played against a deck like this yesterday. It lost hard against my green white mutation deck. Yes it does run multiple Anguirus.
you need alseid in this deck to protect your lurros. also the continuous sacrificing also helps when paired with other cards you have

This is my favorite deck type since the drop of the set. kayas on lurrus then dead weight on it for crazy draw and lurrus ability reset

Misplays proves this deck is dominant and can only be piloted by chadests of Chad's.
This is a fantastic budget deck, just saying. You only need one copy of Lurrus

The real problem with them is in the older formats where they will literally never go away from now forward.
It'll be just like hearthstone with it's odd/even decks and it's deathknight hero cards.
Wild (non-standard all inclusive format) is basically a shit show because of all the broken cards that can never be banned.
Just ban them from modern and problem solved.

that was most likely a misplay lead by greed, had the legendary been put under the krasis, the name would not have changed so no sacrifice would have been required (just it remains 6/6 and gains lifelink and deathtouch). That or he meant to keep the 11/11 flier and clicked the wrong one. (btw, you can definitively stack non-human legendary with mutate)
