As Marc Stein puts it, he grew up as a “very typical Jewish kid in LA.” But as he grew and gained success in business, his life became anything but typical. It wasn’t until a series of personal and professional failures, that he recognized his need for something more: faith in Yeshua. Success began to look different to Stein. Since then, he has served in executive positions in three different ministries. Today, Marc and his wife, Sylvia, reside in a little coastal community in Southern California, and have five children and eight grandchildren living across the country.

I am a new Christian after being a Jehovah’s Witness for parts of 7 decades. It is a cult that claims belief in Jesus Christ but in actuality replaces Christ with a man made organization and practices shunning that destroys individuals and families. When we find Christ as our Jewish friends here, we face losing our families, friends, and our whole support community when we let our true beliefs be known. I am finding so much strength from hearing these testimonies. I have begun to share my disbelief in JW theology with my loved ones and am on borrowed time before I am formally disfellowshipped (excommunicated) at which time my truly beautiful siblings will be obligated to shun me lest they share my fate.
May God give you strength as you walk with Him. God will never leave you or forsake you even if they all forsake you. Praying that your siblings find Jesus Christ.

I will pray that your family see the true light of Christ in you r life and realize that Jehovahs Witnesses cannot yield that same joy. Know that the strength Jesus gives you will always be perfected in your weakness. But the cost is always worth it.

I feel the same way. I love listening to their testimonies. The Lord placed a few jews in my path years ago and I had such love for them. I no longer have contact with them but I pray for their eyes to be opened and for them to receive the Messiah. 🙏

Former seventh day Adventist here and I appreciate that he identified it along with the World Wide Church God as a cult. I pray that Christians knew that they can keep the Sabbath (if they choose) without adhering to a man made religion. I wish I could here more about his and his wife’s story- it sounds like they saved each other in that they both came to know the true risen Christ our Lord! How beautiful! God bless!
I think the SDA church has been fully vetted as not a cult! They are truly Christian as well as recognizing the seventh day Sabbath. They believe that Jesus is fully God and died for our sins.

I am 60 years and have never met a Jew. Living in South Africa in a very Afrikaans (related to Dutch) Godfearing home my grandmothers always told stories of how Levi, a Jew visited the farm she was living on , with a wagen pulled by oxen selling or exchangi g his products. The stories was always told with appresiation and great respect and love. Reading the bible and being saved I know Israel are the apple of Gods eye and share the same sentiment my grandmother had

Agree with the comment on secular music. I graduated high school in the late 90’s. Used to be big into grunge music. Got saved & baptized at 22 yrs old in 2002. Can’t stand listening to heavy metal anymore. Can’t switch the station fast enough. Chris Tomlin and Jeremy Camp are two of my favorite artists today on the radio
I grew up listening to pop music and heavy metal from around 1963 to 1980 and I never realized that many of these bands made a deal with the devil. I thought it was just talk but now I think they did. Just like hollywood

I saw a testimony recently of a Jewish man who got saved. He said that first a Christian man came to Israel to help and never witnessed to him but it was the joy and love that he saw in that person. Then a Christian woman came to help and it was the same with her. He finally had to ask about their joy and they said it was because of Jesus Christ in their hearts and soon he got saved and married the woman

I really enjoyed this video! I too grew up in the worldwide Church of God which is definitely a cult like many churches. But I'm very glad that I did... I still feel that they have such a connection to truth because they follow Yahshua.
WCG has since evolved because of a better understanding of the New Covenant. The cult label is no longer true.

I think it's because of the teaching of the law the 10 commandments. They are said to be a tough taskmaster and then to be told of God's grace and complete forgiveness through Jesus Christ is different. How much God loves His chosen people unconditionally

@@virginiafilitsis8277 Jesus forgives all sin when forgiveness is asked for. Sometimes we go through seasons of sin, and God still forgives us. He is long suffering. We are weak. He’s not looking for perfection. He’s looking for repentance from weak, broken people. Paul said it well, “Why do I do the things I don’t want to do…and don’t do the things I know I should..”. It’s the human condition. And the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

I'm really not here to judge...I just know we have to be very careful with our salvation. The Lord tells us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, because salvation can be lost!

It is joy to hear how the brothers of Yeshua discover their Saviour who can wash every sin of believers. I found Jesus since when I was in high school and walking in the faith as I could, but I could not believe that on the rod you can fell down many times, even passing through a divorce by having four children. When I was very alone, Jesus (Isus in my languace) started to reveal me with names in hebrew. First name that I heard in dream it was: Shalom, after Yeshua, after Adonai, and Yahve, Elohim, Yerushalaim my city, my Rubby, Emanuel, Mesia. I heard even songs with instruments like with harpa and also seeing some images in dreams also like the face of David with a heavenly smile and blond hair on a horse. Like that I understood that Jesus loved so much his brothers jews and his country. Hope that we are better prepared to meet Yeshua from Nazareth, the Lord of Life who is resurected.
Jesus told His disciples that He came only to the lost house of Israel. He came to save their souls and they wanted a King that would free them from the roman empire. So they chose Barabas instead and that was because of the religious hypocrites the Pharricees and Sadducees rejected Him afraid to lose their place high up in the religion of Moses they called it. I guess they didn't read the Old Testament

Funny how he said the music he listen to. Just did not sit well with him. I had the same experience. The lyrics today have almost no meaning. Much less cause critical thinking of what the song was about..
I had the same conversation on CZcams. When discussing Ronnie James Dio.. Song, Man on the Silver Mountain. As most people had no clue the song was about Moses Meeting God on the Mountain for the first time. In a burning bush..And that was in 1975...When religion was on everybody mind. Why my generation understands them old songs. We actually listen to what was being said...
I was in a discussion recently with a friend who was very opinionated on "Jews" but he couldn't define who was one. I'd really like to know who is one. Is it a genealogy, a belief, a nationality, or is it as vague as gender these days?
Being Jewish just means being born into a Jewish lineage - its cultural, not religious. Most people who claim to be jewish, have no way of even proving their lineage either other than estimating by what their last name is. My family comes from France, where apparently a lot of jews were exiled to, however, I would have no idea what my lineage is other than guessing the tribe of Rueben.
Rabbinic Judaism also isn't original Judaism - it's important to know this. Rabbinic Judaism is a man-made religion based on the opinions of polemicist rabbis who blame Jesus for the holocaust - it's political, not religious. All the anti-missionaries actually ignore even their own talmud which they claim to be their oral torah and only read Rashi commentaries which contradict scripture and the ancient rabbinic teachings. like I said, Rabbinic Judaism is political not biblical.

On one hand, I rejoice because Marc Stein found the Jewish Messiah. And yet a part of me saw a wealthy elitist transformed into a now wealthy Christian elitist. I have doubts whether Marc Stein could ever relate well to those who were not blessed by his seemingly effortless road to prosperity. I wonder how many people whose lives were victimized by hardship, addictions, tempestuous home lives and not being graced by silver spoon fortune could truly find Christ through this testimony. I believe that Jesus ministered to the common man, first,-the have nots of society.-from women of ill repute to a demoniac from Gadarene. In this testimony, I saw more of a celebration of a wealthy man, who found Jesus after a few hiccups in the road (divorce and litigation), compared to the redemption from extreme spiritual and emotional devastation which I have witnessed through other testimonies on here.
All conversions are deeply personal subjective experiences. Can't compare one to another. "Sometimes the only way the good Lord can get into some hearts is to break them." Jesus meets us all where we are, king or pauper, He is the great equalizer.

And i definitely know that in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek .But even in corporate worship, no matter where my wife and I have attended, though Jesus is no respecter of persons, there is invariably some form of hierarchy or social pecking order, which exerts some form of preference . It is a reason for the last 15 years, my wife and I prefer to worship and study the word in our home. We do not feel led to affiliate with a group of people for the sake of accountability. We are accountable to the Lord , Jesus Christ and we have and do minister to people apart from a church body. Auditioning for acceptance played out during high school and college. I am reminded of in the Bible . In Mark 9:38 John said to Him, Teacher, we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we told him to stop, because he was not one of us Jesus in verse 39, had the last word, .Do not stop him. For no one who performs a miracle in MY Name can speak evil of me. And friend, that is me to a T. I always will follow my Shepherd but I choose to remain aloof from the herd .Though Jesus is "the great equalizer", ,humanity, from personal experience is not., I am a Jewish Christian as well, but as a child, I found no commonality with my culture when I followed Judaism and when I became a Christian, I was ostracized to an even greater degree. Probably, the churches I have felt a part of have been Southern Baptist. Great talking to you. May the Lord continue to bless your life.

He was a pentecostal until the age of 18 l think he said and he heard the Gospel and got saved for good. Once saved always saved before that he was scared to death every day he had no assurance until he heard the truth and the truth set him free of all fear.
