What it sounds to me like is you imagined you'd be too concerned about the stigmas put o you by your friends or people from the neighborhood if you sought protection or relief from the authorities from an aggressive female. From someone born in the 80s, women didn't used to be as easy. Around 2000s, there was little game left. It became so easy, and the older I got, the easier and more desperate women got, but the more bitter and hateful they became. They blame men for not wanting someone who complains and hates everything. Men can now be the picky ones and reject women. Men just accepted and moved on. Women sulk in the rejection, and at times, they want to try and ruin the guy. I had one female ask if I was gay. I simply told her, no, I just know her reputation.
Indeed, I was born in 1988 and I still remember that in early/mid 2000s we only had 1 girl in my school with some colored (green at first, purple later) highlights in her hair, but she was known around the school as a bit of a rebel and a huge tomboy, due to having 5 older brothers, so obviously they had their influence on her. And even then, she wasn't a 304, nobody managed to claim her for a long time -- and guys would've known back then, as girls seldom gave it away easily, thus if someone smashed, then consider that a whole town would know about it very soon. Obviously, she eventually grew out of that teen rebel/tomboy phase, and now she's married for some ~15 years (to a guy from my neighborhood), with their son going to the same school and she is shocked how much everything's changed, as much as I am.
