If I had to pick the absolute worst it’s the insufferable Jeep Wrangler. The lowest rated vehicle in Consumer Reports at a measly 25%. 😮

2023 really was a bad year for Stellantis in general. Sales were down, most of their product line is getting old, especially the Dodge Durango, quality and reliability hasn't been good for the most part, and some of their new vehicle introductions this past year such as the Dodge Hornet have been lukewarm at best.

I work for a large auto group in Canada and we have three Stellantis stores, all the stores are struggling to sell most of their product line, including and rather surprisingly RAM trucks, even with some great offers like 15% off MSRP and 0% financing. One of the reasons I m told is that a lot of the RAMS are missing equipment particularly on their high end models like the Limited, no sunroofs, no heated and cooled seats, no Nav and the bigger screen being replaced with a smaller version…. And that’s just some items. Most consumers are going out and buying a FORD F-150 or GM truck…..

Agree, except the BZ4X - there are far worse BEV's (the least reliable car category according to Consumer Reports annual reliability survey), like the Chinese, Korean and German ones.
At least Toyota is reliable. And very wise for delaying their BEV's and focusing on their (top reliable) hybrids.

    • @carhelpcorner

The thing is that I do believe that Mr. Toyoda did plan that, as he saw deep into the BEV scam.
Any unbiased (not paid by the NWO entities) scientist can certify that for many years the BEV's do not make sense in most cases. And even when they seem fit, they are still unreliable, dangerous, with a too high TCO and - most important - too controllable.

Really need to add the Hyundai i30 to the list. 3 work colleagues have them and they’re all furious with Hyundai. 2 have had their engines replaced and the other the gearbox replaced. 2022 and 2023 models. They’ve gone through hell dealing with Hyundai with the warranty unfortunately with lots of back and forth bullshit. Look nice and drive nice but they’re obviously lemons.
Edit: have a friend who has a new Kia Seltos as well. Again another car that looks and drives nice but she’s been having issues as well. Interior parts falling off and leaks. Was shocked when she sent a video of her gear shifter falling apart. Overall quite cheaply made.
Me personally, I’ve got a 2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Cruiser AWD (similar to the US Limited model) and it’s been amazing. Highly recommend it.

It's a shame about the Taos. I think it's more attractive than the Tiguan. You would think VW would put the regular 8-speed automatic in it, and that would fix the jerky transmission problem when you purchase one with AWD. At least VW are starting to listen to peoples complaints and will be adding back buttons in the near future, because their slow to respond touchscreens are another of owners biggest complaints.

Create new models by rebadging cars that would not sell here under their original Fiat, Alfa, Peugeot, or Renault name. Jeep is doing it, too. This does not fool anyone. There is an upgraded Toyato 4X with improvementsto the battery. My Alfa Romeo Giulia QF was super reliable for the 3 years I had it. Alfa reliability has improved a lot.

Are the prices your quoted in Canadian dollars? You might want to qualify that next time, if so. Nevertheless all those models are still terrible and horribly overpriced.

Consistently rank at the bottom for reliability and low owner satisfaction. They don't really do anything better than the equivalent Toyota, Mazda, etc., so why gamble on spotty reliability or high out of warranty repairs?

    • @g59490155

@@carhelpcorner Don't you need to look beneath the surface to investigate who made the rank and whether it's true or not? These rankings are really biased and if you ask the owners of VW, I am sure they will have a different thing to say.

@g59490155 The consumers. Look at Repairpal. Literally bases off consumer reports on repairs. Every single reliability list has Taos and VW at the bottom.
