5:04, can't really fault Kichenok for assuming Jelena wouldn't run to get the ball. and then 6:30, the usual Ostapenko arrogance - how dare an opponent make a good shot! Wonderful that her botched volley sealed her loss and the usual dead-fish handshake at the end. Always good to see Ostapenko lose.

Kichenok kept getting in Ostapenko way.
That's just the highlights... while the best shots were by Ostapenko, so were most of the unforced errors.
Amazing how you missed how many overheads Jelena played to the opponents, how her lack of mobility helped the opponents, and how often she volleyed into the net. Kichenok had to cover 70% of the court - assuming Jelena wouldn't move is statistically the best option.
When I see hsieh playing tennis there is definitely something wrong in my game lol

Mertens and Hsieh are too SMART for Ostapenko and her partner....they TOTALLY bamboozled them with such finesse and placement...made them look like amateurs LOL...
what a shame there was no Taiwanese flag. Austarlian Open likes collaborating with authoritarian regimes. Money don't smell.
