Hello, this is a very good clipper, but beware of water getting into it. I just rinsed the blades a couple of times when i was finished, with the blades pointing down as to keep the water from getting into it. But water got into it anyhow and it shortcircuited.
I'm trying to fix it, but what i discovered when i opened it up is that it lacks the sponge-like material around the motor spindle at the front of the housing.
My old remington has it, and i rinsed that one a lot of times, it's still working. I guess the material is some sort of absorbing shield that prevents water from going further into the machine.
So i would advice putting some of that stuff also into this kemei if you want to keep it.

I appreciate the demo showing swapping the blade. Made a whole lot of difference, even cut friends hair and they were impressed. Also got curious and took a look inside. Very easy to dis-assemble and looks just like the Wahl clippers. The battery turns out to be a 3.7v 2000mah. The box says 1000mah. I had also wanted to know because I was thinking to upgrade the battery, but since it is a 2000mah, I'm leaving it alone.
You can also put the Andis Envy blades on them or Andis Pro alloy blades

I've had the Surker version of this clippers for over a year and was happy with them, considering it's low price and adjusting my expectatives in consecuence but a couple of days ago my blade assembly just exploded mid-cut leaving me in an emergency situation with no other clipper to complete the task. Uppon further inspection it seems the blade slide, the part where the fixed blade screws into and what the side lever moves up and down snapped where the lever is attached. Comparing it to photos of other brand clippers it looks like the metal is thinner in this one so I wouldn't recommend it in my experience.

It would have been nice to see how they cut w stock blades. How do you accurately assess a product that’s modified ?
CZcams Barber Academy yea but someone who would buy And try a 30 dollar clipper might not have money to be buying extra blades to modify it so it might benefit them to see what the clipper can do in stock form.

Their version of babyliss pro cordless is awesome for the money.....40$ compared to 200 and to be honest I like the kemei just as much.
Sounds a lot more powerful than the Five star and I liked it to speed levels, I wonder if or how it affects your fadeing depending on the speed. I just ordered a pair myself and can’t wait to use them I am going to put a wahl blade on it though. Will you do another tutorial in a couple months to see how they ended out for you

Hi, would it work to install the wahl senior blade on the wahl legend?

For me this clipper was amazing until about two weeks later more every time I cut the lever closes by itself anyone know how to fix this?

Tighten the screw on the lever with a screwdriver mate. I had this problem, I tighten every time I change lever. Takes seconds
Hi mate I purchased these and after about 20 times using them they now don’t work. Press the power button and it moves then stops straight away. Any ideas 💡

wahl blades and the kemei blades are probably from the same manufacturer, so i think there is no need to swap them out.

No. Even though they are exactly the same the more expensive one gives better fades

The meaning of changing knives. Sharpen them and they will be even better. And for the test you need to sharpen the knives on Kemei and Wahl equally. But that is not all. It is necessary to compare the engines and their speed. Names of engines, marking. Compare power supply (battery).

You can get those really cheap from the app called wish....there a knock off of Wahl they even have a pair called magic clips like Wahl lol...but way cheaper than wahls are....don't think I would wanna use them but if you want some that's where you can get them from

Ive used the stock blad for the last year to fade & cut with no problem watsoever
Ridiculous music choice(just dont do it) and no idea where the camera is aiming so a lot of things happen off screen. There are many channels that clearly show how you could do this right. Many examples you could learn from.
