The man from this story was a complete loser in school. Everyone used to laugh and bully him all the time.
Because he was a dreamer, he didn't know what he wanted to do with his life at the time and that didn't help with his studies.
As soon as he showed up to the school reunion wearing poor clothes, everyone assumed that his life had taken a turn for the worse and that he had become an alcoholic.

Chris made a right choice not accepting there friend request because they werenât friends to begin with theyâve teased and look down on him until they found out heâs a hotshot. Becky was the only one with a heart of gold with the integrity to see Chris differently and stood up for him. Thatâs a real friend right there

Goes to show people with want anything to do with you when you have something and want nothing to do with you when you have nothing. Those classmates should be ashamed of themselves for judging him but when he revealed he is successful all of a sudden they want to be friends. I'm glad he got with Betty, who always respected him since they were classmates.
Chris's former classmates should be ashamed just because he doesn't wear flashy clothes doesn't make him a loser. Becky is a true angel for seeing Chris as his true self

I have a friend who is like Chris. Although her career path was different from his, she was the one who was bullied, belittled and underestimated and teachers ignore her. When she finally achieved her dream, our former classmates and teachers sent her friend requests. I have other classmates who were in the same situation as hers but ended up successful not only in their careers but also in their marriage.
That just goes to show that you should never judge a book by its cover. Chris was so much better than all those snobby, stuck-up losers at the party. And I believe he will end up being a wonderful husband to Becky. đ
Itâs amazing how many people can grow up so rich and successful and end up being shallow jerks about it, and yet some people who grow up to be rich and successful end up being humble people in the end.
That's hypocrisy... Liking someone for what they do not for who they truly are.... It was a great story and very motivating...

Yesssss Chris was right to respond to his so called friends texts and the Principal was out of line calling him a dreamer his dreams was his reality.Chris owned his own business he did better than any of his evil class mates.The class mates got what they deserves.
