I completely agree! the goal is to get them looking well worn in - i was just a bit shocked at the fake leather peeling off but i guess that's what you get for going that route. still adore them though
I definitely had the same problems with my oxford style Doc Martens! The one thing that helped a lot were stick on heel protectors! Not only keeps them from blistering, but takes up a little space and makes them fit more snug!
My fave shoes are my Pisa leather Jadons in black. There’s a slash at the side of the sole (possibly my fault) and the insole moves around now which is super annoying (I need to get shoe glue) but omg they’re my fave, they were instantly comfortable and they’re just beautiful. I feel the most like myself when I wear them. I love your shoe collection! I too am a boots girly.
Ooooh I love those! It’s an instant win when docs are comfy from the start 🥲 & luckily nothing some glue can’t fix. Thanks for sharing, and I’m so glad you enjoyed the shoes 🖤
yeah - they're painful in the beginning, but that's a great point! also found that using a leather polish can help soften the leather and wearing thick socks for as long as possible. also bending down so your feet bend in the shoes helps to break in the front bit
I love your shoe collection! And you should bring back the creepers, they’re cute. My fav shoe is my worn-in mary janes
Ahh thanks sm for your comment🖤 The creepers deserve a comeback, I agree! & mary janes are the cutest ☺️

The jadon docs are so nice. i love mine so much after the first 2 months. i think the scuffs are giving them character. i like them a bit worn in.

Have you tried putting bracelets or necklaces on the ankle of your last boots? I think that could look nice
I haven't tried it but I've also thought about it! definitely need to make some cute chains. thanks for the idea :)

Good morning! You have so many great boot options and in general a great collection. Also you're beautiful!
Ah thank you so much✨ Boots are incredibly addictive 🫠
I wore my 1460s for the first time today, I've heard warmer weather helps the breaking in process better. So far just shin chaffing.
