說實在「如懿傳」真的是一部每個演員的演技都相當的精湛入戲，而且它每一集都有相當多經典的金句，每句都觸動人心，實在是不勝枚舉，在此無法一一列舉，這部戲真的讓我百看不膩，我真的真的好欣賞好喜歡這部「如懿傳」！
我認為這部劇更勝甄嬛傳

I feel so bad for Yuhu, constantly having to look into things for the Emperor (like checking the stitching) and investigating the deaths of concubines, and royal heirs, all the while the Emperor is an incompetent fool. She really goes running around solving a lot of the harems problems, half of which are caused by the Emperor's inability to see evil and good right in front of his face. Yuhu has probably known the whole time what a catch Ruyi is (I mean look at the relief on her face when the stitching didn't match), but has to watch the Emperor go after gold diggers that just want him for his title and create problems in the harem.
I hope Yuhu got to retire at some point, away from the palace, and lived a peaceful life with a happy death. That woman deserves it.
I think she helped the the queen with that boot cuz she had a smile if you look at a chair smile on her face and she just knotted and went back and told him it wasn't it wasn't by her I think she helped her there I also believe that this woman knows more about that messed up emperor that anybody and I believe yes she just gets tired she knows that he's been lying he knows he knows what he has done and what he has hidden anybody in his mother this guy is a mess he has behind I am Emperor and nobody tells me no I do what I want to do when I want to do it it's me the emperor
YuHu is a very trusted hand of the emperor which makes her very powerful in the servants quarter I admire the role her and LiYu play in the lives of the powerful it shows honesty can take you far and I'm sure running around verifying crimes for the emperor can be fulfilling and taxing she gets to hit a concubine now and then which sure beats cleaning waste pots or waiting on a spoiled concubine🤔😅
That's not the emperor's job. The emperor's duty is always first and foremost to the country. It's the empress's job to manage the women in the palace, but in this case the empress is directly involved, so it's a little more difficult for her to take charge. In this show, the emperor is shown to be somewhat involved, but historically, the emperor is not supposed to spend time with his concubines because it might lead to emotional attachment, which in turn might lead to the women and their families getting unwarranted political power, like in the case of Empress Wu Zetian (who ended up with de facto power before taking the throne for herself), and Yang Guozhong (Consort Yang's incompetent brother who rose to power). That's why the emperor typically only really see his concubines when they sleep together, and even then, there's a eunuch who waits outside to keep time and once time's up, the emperor has to leave. If he refuses to leave, the eunuch is expected to intervene and take the concubine away or else he might get in deep trouble with the empress dowager.
Zhou Xun’s acting as Empress is v dignified with an aura of class. Well done . The emperor acted well too and hence everyone dislikes him .)

What a disgrace. Believes in the rumors because of his own insecurities and takes it out on the person he "loves ". An absolute disgrace
I think it's probably his imagination that runs wild due to his doping. He seems insecure in his ability to rule and finds escape through medicine/herbs/drugs? Towards the middle of the drama, we start to see him sniffing something and I've already watched the episodes and he's seen smoking what i would assume to be opium since it was about his time that it was introduced by the British to China to counter the debt imbalance.

This was the way of the world then and many macho men are still this way: they only have high speed for malevolent behavior. There is no room for self-inquiry.
The background music for this drama is so beautiful, haunting. Gets me right in the feels. Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. It suits this series perfectly and I love that the same music is used throughout every episode. Was there ever a soundtrack made? The matter that makes Ruyi distants are obviously his blind infatuation to Concubine Rong and his thin ears that hear whatever rumours going on in the palace (mostly from Consort Ling's mouth). After all, who wants to get close to someone who's always suspecting and dragging you down?
Well… consort ling will end up drinking poison everyday that will cause her to shit her bowels out to the point it so painful to wipe her ass for ten years till she is poisoned to death when her torture no longer serves the emperor.
Now, in reality Cosrt Ling is a very kind woman and the empress Ruyi was a very jealous lady. I mean you have to be an idiot to cut your hair, knowing you agreed to live a polygamy life. Ruyi did sign up for “EVERLASTING BACHELOR.”

This is the reason he became quite agitated with her throughout most part of their live. Towards the end of her life, he ended up rebelling her on certain things he didn’t want to do and became quite an adulterer. Hence he regrets things that he couldn’t understand. Like when she said in a letter that she is “free.” Meaning she no longer tied to the trappings of royal life and felt like she can wonder on her own terms as a commoner within spirit. The actress that plays Ruyi definitely looks a bit like how most of us would think of her on one portrait that probably survived.
How is the Emperor an "adulterer" when he LEGALLY is allowed two wives and many concubines and consorts?

I think Ruyi should have played the conversation to her side rather than making the emperor angry. I think at this point, the emperor is finding someone to vent out his anger and because Ruyi was hard headed- he eventually vented it out on LYC. Ruyi should have chose her battle, because she had people she cared for who will pay. I get at this point she hated the emperor so much already possibly because also of her jealousy with Rong, the flaw of her character is that she only wanted to preserve the love she has with the emperor while others are after her position and title. She never fought for her position and title already at this point which ultimately led to her downfall. She forget that her she was installed at her position because of his love for her so women who are after her position poisoned the emperor’s heart. Unlike modern wives nowadays, if their husbands find comfort in other women, they go for the gold instead😂😂😂

By far, this has been the best Chinese epoch I have watched. I can watch it over and over again. Its so much better than the dramas you see in C-Dramas. The actors here got under your skin in a good way and a bad way which is a great way to get me to watch it again and again!!!!!

I see at the end, Ruyi defied him and left of her own accord. That probably bounced around in his head all day on how she was wild, unruly, defiant, and do not listen to him.
What did Maoquin think was going to haopen? If she had succeeded in framing her husband as having an affair with the Empress those two would have certainly been executed, but did she think she'd walk away scot free with all the marital assets and whatever reward was dangled in front of her? Defiling the legitimate bloodline by participating in adultery with the legal wife, the Empress, sounds like a kind of treason and that was a crime that got your whole clan suppressed if not executed. Being divorced and sent to a remote village to live in poverty would be a better fate than should have happened if she had succeeded in her wickedness. I have seen clips indicating that Maoquin was a little too determined to impress the neighbors so obscure poverty far from the capitol is a fine punishment.

I've seen this in real life. When I Was in the military, there were spouses that thought the same as Maoquin. They would come to the commander about their spouse. Why? To show some power, to get them in a little trouble so they would do as they say. The reality is now the military member is thrown out and they lose everything.

Consort Ling couldn’t stand to see Ling Yunche married and she couldn’t stand to see Ruyi as Empress- so she used this to kill two birds with one stone. Break up Ling Yunche’s marriage and frame Ruyi. Maoquian did not understand that Consort Ling was also trying to get rid of her.

Ok, this emperor takes the 1st Place award for being the biggest disgusting narcissist in this drama. The actor is doing great because I can't stand the sight of him in this role. His character is SO disgusting I often fast forward through his torturous scenes. He was cruel, hateful, paranoid, and had an insatiable lust for women. He may have liked Ruyi the first few years of his Crown-Princehood, but when he got a taste of the kind of power he had, he indulged himself to the fullest, disregarding ANY and ALL that hindered or suggested he was wrong in any way. I loathe this character, a truly despicable stain of a human being.

If he had controlled his feelings better they both would have been safer in that regard. He also didn't deserve what the emperor did to him. It's just too much going on.

The emperor really made me upset, I could never understand how he couldn't see through the jealousy of his harem! He just said the concubine just got out of trouble, how did she find time to investigate a rumor about the empress. He never outright stood up for Ruyi, it always had to do with protocol or tribal relationships as to why he could never just shut the mouths of those against her. He had to know what was going on in all of the times she was accused.
This emperor is a nut job and could have been an opium addiction. Maybe this is why his brains seem scrambled. Wow. Ruyi was a wonderful wife and so thoughtful. He never deserved her. Poor Ruyi.
