In Spite of All the Danger-The Beatles Rhythm Guitar Lesson

This is the rhythm guitar lesson for In Spite of All the Danger by The Beatles. This is how I play it and it sounds pretty close to the record. Hopefully I made it as simple as possible so beginners can try this 4 chord song. Also, it's in standard tuning and I do not own this music. Enjoy!

Hi, if you are having trouble figuring out how long a chord should be played maybe play my video into smaller sections and learn in a few chord transitions first so it is not so overwhelming. Also, listening to the song by itself can help because you can figure out when it sounds best to change the chord because if you are playing a chord and it sounds off with the song than you should go back and figure out when to change it. Hope this helps!

As a beginner just trying to get one song under my belt, can I just play E the whole time then, over time learn the other chords? Does that work?

Jorgan Morgan™ I guess if you are not playing along with the song and you are singing it may work, but it may sound off. This is a decent song to learn when you are first starting out (except maybe the B7). A lot of early Beatle songs are very simple to learn because they use basic chords.

Jorgan Morgan™ It takes time, when i was starting out, I found the best chords to learn are C, G, and G7 and constantly switching them and then learn D and D7. The chords in this song are pretty simple, but learning the chords i just mentioned are a good foundation and will make the chords in the video so much easier to play.

This is by quarrymen it wasn't really the beatles because the beatles formed in '60 and this is '58 also ringo ain't here yet there was 2 other guys called pete best (drums)
And stu sutcliffe (bass)
It went through many names before it became the beatles and when the beatle formed they were taken by manager brian epstein
And the rest is history also
Pete best was fired by epstein and took richard starkey (ringo starr) for replacement
Stu sutcliffe left to study but unfortunately died in '62 caused by raptured aneurysm
