Spent hours building a massively long rail connected by watch towers on both ends, and when I finally got ready to try it, I placed the switch on the platform and was struck by lightning, and the whole thing came down. Please tell me this isn't intended gameplay.
I tried with those thin boards but there was a limit to how far I could go with those witch was about 20 so I'm building a flat bottom manarail there's no rail it just slides across a flatter surface with walls but I've used tens of thousands of wood already and no where near where I need to go :(
@ThatGuyNitty I'll have to.try testing it again because last time I tried.like 2 or 3 days ago it didn't let me build far so I had to make an alternative way to make it work and now there's a I've mountain in my way so I'll haveto.stop it there then keep going.on other side.stop that rail turn left and keep going in thet direction until I reach the desert
@ThatGuyNitty I might do some tinkering to find a more cost effective way since the one I'm doing uses like 4x the wood than doing a small line, since it's being problematic. I'll let the comments know if I come up with something
I did this and no it doesn’t stay in a straight line it leans to the side and eventually it breaks the bridge i have had to rebuild my bridge 3 times now because of it
Sorry to hear that it isn't working that well for you. I have used this build many times to get across the map to different biomes. Any suggestions on making it better?
Look up the other way to make it uses like 4x the wood but it's the only way I've found that works and do it on sandbox first there r problems with it when u build It that they don't tell you but it's hard to explain through text so figure a way out in sandbox first so u don't waste resources or time
Dont tell me u a really use this shit on your surival map there is no sense first u have to farm for 10 hours wood and then u can repair this shit all time u han even hear how it breaks in your video start watching min 7...

yes It takes a lot of wood. but over all I haven't encountered any problems with this build.

im so dumb, i have quite anumber of hours logged. made multiple rails. i kept using wheels.

i used 3 rows of the thin floor to keep my dynamic foundation stable
copied your plan and well the rail broke half way the thing probably too heavy

This Build has never given me any problems.
If u dont use it it cant make u any problems..
