- Ahh, The AMC. I remember this show vividly because I saw what had to be the biggest (Texas sized) rat run across this huge ass warehouse of a venue. Right pass, COC's enormous tour bus. Which happened to be parked inside the venue. haha
S.N.O.T. Not to be confused with that Nu Metal, or whatever the hell type of metal they play. This S.N.O.T. was a hardcore punk band from H-Town formed around 1984 - 1985. They released one record (that I'm aware of) called "Slaughterhouse"

So, I live in Grapevine between Dallas & Ft Worth & a punk band "Snot" is playing Thur night (4/11/23) at South Side Ballroom. It couldn't be the same as the GREAT Houston S.N.O.T. could it? I wanna go. Yes I still go to many hardcore punk shows (saw DRI, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, OFF, FEAR, 7 Seconds, MDC, Negative Approach, Adrenalin OD & many others recently). Houston SNOT was a favorite of mine in San Antonio in the mid 80s. They played S.A. several times. I loved their bass runs before fast parts. This recording is like gold! Thanks!

Slime from the Nose of Texas! I was at this one.
"Blowing straight from the nose of Texas onto your best shoes!" I remember a flyer in San Antonio saying that. Snot was one of my favorite mid 80s Texas bands & I saw them 3-4 times in S.A. where they liked to play apparently.
I was supposed to go to this show. But skater Lance Gentry and his buddy Damon got stoned and forgot to pick up my buddy and I. I was so mad about it. We were all in high school at South Houston High School.
HAHA. Sounds like typical Lance and Damon antics.
