BEACH FISHING: What Can We Catch in METRO ADELAIDE?

After a disastrous session fishing the Wallaroo Jetty the night before, where I smashed the receiver of my DJI Wireless Microphones, we decided for a more relaxed daddy-daughter beach fishing outing to Tennyson Beach in metro Adelaide.
My daughter Tilly (8y.o) was a great helper fishing the beach, choosing our lures, and keeping our gear on the beach out of the water from the fast-rising tide.
Our gear used was the trusty Shimano T Curve Surf 10' 3-6KG Rod, paired with a Shimano FL 4000 Stradic spooled with 12lb Tasline Braid and 12lb Shimano Ocea F Leader.
Unfortunately, while it was a fun afternoon together beach fishing we only hooked up on a small Salmon Trout. Better luck next time!

Im an Adelaide boy and Ive been following you since before 1k followers... I love what you post/share. It is so important to have these moments and outings with your children. I've been trying to get out alot more since watching your videos. I have a 10yr old son and he caught his 1st Tommy a few days ago on Easter Monday at Perry's Bend- Onkaparinga River.
I am trying to get out more, and learn as much as possible from your videos. I hope to bump in to you one day out there on the cast. Keep going dude. Love your work ❤❤❤❤ 🎣
Hey, that's awesome, Ben! Thanks for the support, and I'm glad to be inspiring you to get out there more and with your son. Some of my core childhood memories are fishing with my Dad. Down at the Onk, Pt Noarlunga, Rapid Bay, Second Valley, etc... Your son will have similar memories with you, too, no doubt. A great way to spend time together. Keep it up! And thanks for sharing!

Hey man, cool videos, my favourite squid spot is troubridge shoal in port Lincoln national Park, l bagged out in 30 minutes, it was amazing. My first choice is definitely the gold runner, also, would love to go fishing with you sometime.

Hey Jon! Thanks for that. Not sure you commented on the right video as this wasn't squidding... But all good. I get what you mean. Yes I love the west coast, pt lincoln and coffin bay etc... Can't go wrong really! I have been out with GT Fishing Charters a few times from Coffin's and absolutely love it!

Hiya! 👋 Tilly is 8... Believe me, my patience isn't all that it seems. Fair bit of frustration edited out.. she is on the spectrum and has ADHD, do she's a supercharged Duracell Bunny! We had a session at Ardrossan yesterday. Need to check footage and hopefully it is good enough for another similar vid, but with more fish!
