I think the best representation of her voice is the live vocal one take of Spiritbox // Circle With Me. She utilizes many different techniques and really sounds more at home with her voice

It's either "Holy Roller" for heavy, and popularity,
or "Circle With Me (live one-take)" for awesomeness.

Yessss Courtney is my favourite. For more recommended listening check out Circle With Me (for more poweful singing) and Constance (to make you cry).

Circle With Me, the live one take version is a must listen.

Everyone always tells reactors to go for their newer songs with more views but if you want to see a broader interesting example of the band and/or Courtney's range then check out The Mara Effect live at Silverside Sound. 16 minutes well worth it.
    Other notables are:
Trust Fall, Circle With Me (One Take), Sun Killer, The Summit.

For a full song without screams, check out "Constance," but be prepared for an emotional reaction.

“No screaming is my favourite thing in the world”. Sorry, but we can no longer be friends…… 😆 Haven’t listened to any of their music before either, but now I’m keen!

      Some recommendations:
Spiritbox - Blessed Be [Live for SiriusXM]:
      czcams.com/video/rE_fbydG1h8/video.html
Spiritbox - Circle With Me - Courtney LaPlante live one take performance:
      czcams.com/video/zMnfkW9UZc4/video.html
And if you want something really heavy, with no clean vocals (all screaming). This is the original music video (which is what I recommend - cool/creepy video):
Spiritbox Holy Roller (Official Music Video):

Well, you've already met Floor, Tatiana, and now Courtney. You should keep your visit to Vancouver (Spiritbox home) a bit longer and head down the street to meet Brittney Slayes, lead singer of Unleash The Archers. I highly recommend reacting to their song Awakening (full band playthrough). They have very few professionally recorded live vids out there, most are fans cell phone vids. If you want something live, I suggest their song Time Stands Still, here is the correct link to that live recording - czcams.com/video/ZNxlQPEGTFA/video.html

Courtney and her husband Mike (guitarist and instrumental composer for all of Spiritbox’s music) were also in the “Gift Of Death” era of the band Iwrestledabearonce.
Check out the Circle With Me one take for sure. Vocally, what she does is way more impressive in that song. This song was one of their older ones where they were trying to find their identity as a band, so it’s quite a bit more progressive.

For pure insanity please check out her one take of their song Circle With Me. Courtney evolved so so much over the past and you can really see and hear that if you gonna watch all of her one takes from oldest to newest. She's an absolute beast and for me personally, the queen of metal. But not only metal, I think and she also already prooved that, Courtney can basically do everything with her voice.

Their latest release is beautiful acoustic song.

I think the singing voices for screamers are usually good because screaming without blowing your voice requires immense amount of breath support and vocal control. So the basics of solid singing are there anyway.

You should check out Rolo Tomassi is you haven't. That vocalist is incredible at switching between clean and scream! She def rocks!!

Spiritbox (and also Jinjer) is on top of the stairs to heaven..or ...hell. As I'm Dutch, I recommand you another Dutch amazing 'fairy tale' female singer gothic metal band called Blackbriar, no screaming but angelic voice. One of their stunning songs is Deadly Diminuendo: @

You might like their song Constance, which has no screaming, or Secret Garden, or Eternal Blue. They're not a band that uses harsh vocals in every song necessarily!

Well If you don't really like growling but you still interested in Spiritbox, maybe you should react to Constance, which has only clean vocals. If you don't mind so much about growling parts you should definitely react to "Circle with me". Amazing song and almost brand new

That was a really nice reaction! You seem to have a very deep understanding of how voice works and can hear small details and nuances. If you are interested in one-takes, we have also just released a one-take video on our song "Panopticon", would be keen hearing your opinion!

Also they do a gorgeous cover of Peter Gabriel's Don't Give Up... Please check them out! Guaranteed you will love them!
