Great video. I also suggest using the Automated Animations module for beginners who want a fast, non-macro way of setting up animations.
True and real. You're going to need AA anyways if you want to tie your macros to spells/items/attacks.

how to you add the macro effects to a specific Spell in order to play when the spell is cast ?

For example. I want to play this animation, and at the same time, roll a d10 and add to it the value of my int atribute. How to make it?

Can these be linked to abilities to fire off on their own when the ability is used or does the macro need to be used every time? I know for at least the older version of JB2A (haven't used in about 2 years) there was a section for abilities you could assign effects, but nothing like this chaining effects.
Yeah they can. But you'll need a module that can link macros to abilities, like Automated Animations.

This is genius. Thank you so much for this. How do I add an attack macro so it does the animation to the attack when the macro button is clicked? Do I add the info for the attack macro before or after the animation or does that matter?
Doesn't really matter when you put the attack macro. Typically I would put it before, so the code will read the attack macro before it reads the sequence.
Also a neat little trick you can do, is add a .macro() section to the sequence, to have the sequence call any macro you want during its run time.
Simply add,
.macro(" _macro name_")
into your sequence.
Something I can't find anywhere is how to make a macro to end an effect. Example: a fire aura around a token, is it possible to create a macro to end it?
I'm terrible with code, nothing I tried by myself worked.

What about making a spell or shield move with the token as it moves, do you know the code for that?
By adding .attachTo(token) into the effect section, it will bind the effect to the token.

How do I add a sound asset to play as part of my macro?

one thing I've noticed and am not sure why it's happening. When it comes to the macros they don't seem to play, I've followed it, there's no errors in them. But the effect doesn't show up. Inb4 switching type: it is indeed on script.

Jinker's Animated Art pack module has over 400 animations to use with this as well, sadly not automatic like JB2A. /plug

not gonna lie the lazy dm in me wishes this was a already built module where the macros were already tied to spells/attacks so just casting triggered the macro. working two jobs and such kinda kills doing all this from scratch for me sadly damn you time why are you so finite
There is a solution if you don't got the time.
Get Automated Animations module. Will auto link effects to abilities.
Then if your DnD5e use Chris' Premades: foundryvtt.com/packages/chris-premades
If your PF2e use PF2e Animations: foundryvtt.com/packages/pf2e-jb2a-macros
Those modules will auto put more effects into your abilities.
Oh my man I have the thing for you. Get MIDI Qol, MrPrimate DDImporter, AA (as Eskiemo said), Chris’s Premades, and you can import your characters from DDB with their attacks, spells, etc all set up and ready. It’s amazing.
The video is helpful but its not enough. How do you implement these macros?
FGU is way more relliable. Update, you don't play for weeks, contents ? Spend hours setting up your session... native is the way to go. Automation help a lot. Software instead of web is so much more stable. I did bought it during sales. Worth it. Tou get lied in your face with foundry.
no idea what i am doing incorrectly: downloaded modules, activated them, created a macro, saved it, executed it while token was selected... nothing :S is it the code? :S

Aura has no .atLocation
Eldritch Blast you spelled stretch* wrong.
