5 Things to Make with a Japanese Fish Grill (Other Than Fish)

  • Japanese stoves often come with a fish grill pan, which is like a mini-broiler. It's great for fish, of course, but I wanted to see what else could be made with a Japanese fish grill. I tested five different methods of cooking with it including toasting bread, roasting vegetables to reheating leftovers. Also, included are a few techniques that I use when I BBQ, which I adapted to make with the fish grill for an "indoor BBQ".

    • @Jasper.B
      @Jasper.B Před rokem

      I've been using it to make toast for 6 years without water or preheating, for whole grain I do 2 minute timer the first side, then flip and 1 minute timer the second side. For white bread it's more like 1minute-ish first side then 50 seconds next side.
      I love the video but it's blowing my mind that he said you need water and preheating just to toast a slice of bread. Like, does anyone preheat their toaster before putting toast in? I'm curious if the benefit is worth the extra 5 minutes of gas so if anyone knows please let me know!
