@@Manawatu_Al2844 Well I am Japanese, and most things get done with computer nowadays of course in Japan, but yes, some still use fax machine. It is because using fax machines sometimes is more efficient in business. Like,,, if you want to send some information on paper, you can just send it in 5 seconds instead of wasting time to scan it and attach it to your email to send it. and... also some business like selling fish at the market, they don't need computer for their business much, so they can use fax to take orders... it is quicker actually than using computer...so it depends.
@@rosepink7558 couldn't they just use a mobile phone app for taking orders for fish? I just know that nowadays, fax is becoming rarely used. Yes, there's scan to email, but that honestly doesn't take long, as it's also done quickly. It's just more efficient to use mobile or computer based services to get what you want done. Paper can be useful, especially as a back up incase of a IT outage.
