I'd like to hear ur thoughts on firestorm its real rng but its kinda ridiculous the burst u can line up and it chains often because it creates more hot streaks
As a fire mage you already have the dmg without having to rely on rng.
Why do you set meteor so only the edge hits the enemy? Does it do more dmg that way or is it to keep the enemies away from u? (Bcz they have to walk trough more fire)
To avoid breaking CCs and maximizing time in the dot.
The times he was setting meteor right on the edge was because the other player was nearby. Meteor splits damage the more people it hits. So if you want maximum burst on one person you have to make sure meteor only hits one. Like the 10k hit on the thumbnail would only be 5k if he hit two people with meteor.
Isn't rune of power hidden nerfed in arena? I thought I read that like last xpac that they have it hidden nerfed similar to how death strike heals for like 50% less in arena. I was thinking it only starts at 15% or 20%. Can't remember which.

I think the move is incanter's in 2v2 and triune in 3v3. Which is exactly the opposite of what most people would pick. The problem is in 2v2 you are double dps pure offense comp. Sure against some double dps comps (mirror, ret/rogue, rogue/mm) it might be good to go Triune, but against anything healer/dps that extra damage is going to win out because it's going to mean killing sooner, rather than later. Eventually you run out of cds and health for resets, which triune doesn't fix.
In 3s I think triune is going to be invaluable. I've survived so much stupid damage with triune now with zero healing and without having to block. I can hold my block for days with triune in 3v3.
I guess rogues have found their new purpose: support mages in 2s

@@lynyrdskinyrd no one is bitching. I love ccing the healers while my teammates blow up enemies with their 1 shots. It is the playstyle I enjoy the most. I also love that blizzard overlooks every other OP class damage output (you ever try to duel a bad monk? He can smack his forehead against his keyboard and somehow he still manages to kill you). I love it all.

can someone explain to me what that seed he channels does? i havent played in 2 expansions and that spell just doesnt make sense to me, sometimes he uses is as a deff cd sometimes to hit trough the wall or smth?!
It does aoe damage and reduces the remaining cd on your spells. A full channel is 10 seconds off all cds. In pvp you normally want to do it somewhere it can't get interrupted instead of using it for damage.
What about grisly icicle? 15% increased fire & arcane dmg on nova hit

i hate them, they always proc on wrong time. Its awful for setup based comps like we must have as mages
@@marcusviniciusebele5671 I personally prefer it cause i dont need any more burst to my combustion. I play with a rouge and we get a setup, my comb burst is always enough to that.

@@marcusviniciusebele5671 With full poly on focus and full kidney on main target when theres no trinkets and gpy opener, they do go down easily.
It would be super helpful for your viewers (that are trying to be god mages too) to see the addon that shows your spells being in pressed in real time. You may have had this before not sure

All 3 specs are solid right now. It really depends on your playstyle/comps. Fire is probably a little stronger than the rest overall, but Frost and Arcane are really good in the right situation.
Idk but i watch this and i get vibes of fire mage in MoP/WoD with, meteor, alter time and full pyro criticals and i like it a lot
I'm curious how strong grizzly icicle will be when you spec into two charges as fire. 15% dmg increase and they don't break from your dmg. Hmm
Dogshit for anything but dueling. Only applies to your damage. Teammates will just break it.

The burst still isnt as good as ret/boomy/enh/ww, which are all HYBRID specs, hence his justified frustration.

In my opinion the legendary are most of the reason a class become broken if they should change anything it should be them, I would love blizzard to actually get someone from the nerf squad to talk us through changes they make so we can understand the thought process.

@@Backrub3Bucks I'm honestly expecting some tuning on alot of classes, might be 2 optimistic considering last season. but i'm hopeful. Atm it just seems like some support classes/abilities needs to be less effective, Ret healing for example. and some classes needs a bit less burst.
@@sassquash_8941 I've heard a lot of the opposite opinion from top PvPers. They prefer the bursty meta than the one that was present in BFA of just dampening and invincible classes.

i dont think fevered is doing that much, only the very end of the combust gets any real damage advantage out of it, and any kill would have likely happened without it also. In BG's it would do alot for when you can free cast and farm combust though

BC fire mastery is a dispellable dot that sucks peen. It used to be meaningful in pvp, not anymore.

Complete the vault quest, you get from the person infront of the vault, you go open the vault and that completes the quest. You now have triune ward

I personally wiggle so that during combust I do not accidentally start casting anything and waste combust time

I'm 2100 so idk if I'm high enough for me saying this to matter to ppl but I feel warr is fine where it is rn it may need a tiny and I mean tiny decrease in execute or ms dmg but in general I think that it can still be countered with good play and while warr rotation is ez warr now has a new skill cap with a lot of its ability that brings utility other than ms and rally which always made it low A tier and I think rn its high A tier. But its not like warriors can press all its cds and kill ppl in 3 buttons like rouge could which is why it had to be nerfed. I think that ppl aren't used to this new warrior utility in pvp and that's why some ppl are calling it op once ppl get accustomed to it I feel ppl will see its really fine where it is. I mean you compare the its utility to other specs you will see its back on neutral ground with them. But yeah give warrior time and I think ppl will see.
They have millions of reflects, they dont die and do lots of damage, of course the only ones saying that they dont need nerfs are warriors
@@keksdose6340 their reflect has been nerfed for only 1 spell which is also their only magic dmg mit i already said they may wanna look at dmg and they can die as long as you can set up a kill like any other class. Also while my profile picture is of a warrior emblem I actually play rouge, dk, rshamen, holy/ret, and warrior. So yes will I do play warrior im taking into account my xp on other classes.

@Xaryu You'd get so much more damage if you stopped stutter-stepping during your Go's and just let your flamecannon build up an extra 15% damage. Great gameplay nonetheless.

The Sub PvP legendary reduces all cooldowns by 20 seconds when you vanish, so you can do cool stuff like kick vanish kick or kidney vanish kidney

Too bad frost was nerfed in the pre-patch making it trash right now, both pvp and pve and to some extent I think it might have to do with your video about it. People went on, how op it was, but didn't know that the real damage frost had in the prepatch was adjusted from essences and necklace traits. The second barage nerf to arcane makes it kinda weak as well, and fire lacks a decent defensive ( temporal arc only ). Frost is still decent with a frostbolt build venruki tried, but its way to clunky, and in 2v2 no one lets ya try it. I want to see frost viable in pvp, just give us frostjaw so we can setup, or move that fucking nova somewhere in the tree to allow us to not gut our mediocre bolt/lance dmg Blizz.

I know it is painful to watch, but many fire mages do this as a trick. When you pop combustion, you start to move randomly so you make sure you only use instant spells and you don't start casting a pyro by mistake.

Grisly icicle is superior to fevered. Fevered has to be ramped up and only affects crit damage. Grisly immediately applies a 15% damage increase for fire, meaning you get the benefit of fevered without having to ramp it up, thus making it far more consistent. Fevered is also bad because mages on mass are stacking haste, making fevered only reliable during combustion windows, making you even more reliant on that one burst dmg cd. You can even go double nova as grisly just for the damage buff alone. Grisly also has the added benefit of making your frost nova unbreakable to your damage, mainly useful in solo situations, but also incredibly powerful with a healer teammate.
No idea what the hype over fevered is, its just a shitty legion artifact weapon passive that got turned into a legendary. Math wise every other legendary would add up to superior damage output than fevered (in pvp scenarios).
Grisly is only good in 1v1, if someone attacks your nova'd target or if he breaks out of it with something, the bonus is wasted, while Fevered gives ya a constant buff when you crit. Also grisly with 2 x nova will dr fast, making the second too short, while ring is not an option to not pick in rogue/mage, on top of having to stay in nova range to actually make use of it, making it impractical. After the frost part nerf and breaking upon someone else damaging it nerf, the only place that lego is still useful is with frost spamming lances onto a frozen target, and even that can be easily replaced with the orb lego for fof every 3 second regardless if the target is not affected by the orb dmg itself.
Fevered is better

I agree that playing with a healer the Grisly one makes quite strong. I'll try it out on my Frost Mage
@@Alexiully Doesn't matter if your nova breaks, the damage bonus is still there. Grisly Icicle 15% damage bonus is immediate, Fevered has to be ramped up, and looking at the clip Xaryu can't even ramp up fevered to 5 stacks outside of combustion. 2-3 stacks at most and then he gets a noncrit and its gone. Playing with grisly I don't care if my nova breaks. I only do it for the damage bonus. And if nova doesn't break it makes you far stronger than fevered ever will. Frost nova -> Combustion with Rune of Power and the target dies in 2 seconds. The damage output is so stupid I've been whispered after arenas asking me how I can do so much damage. With fevered incantation, once your combustion gets dispelled you won't be able to ramp it up and you get completely countered. Dispelling a grisly frostnova doesn't remove the damage bonus debuff. All in all, grisly is far more versatile and is superior. Ironically, grisly is best for Fire then Arcane, and lastly, frost.
