I had quite a difficult time programming the AIOC card firmware initially under Windows. In the end I used my Mac and it worked.
As far as I can tell, windows has some drivers that may conflict with the dfu-util program. I mention this here in case others have become stuck.

I don’t have my AnyTone D878UVii portable radio handy, but would love this gadget if it will work.
I’m fairly sure it has the serial chip built in, but am hoping there’s some way to get it to work.
While it’s much easier to program directly on the radio using FPP than my Motorola APX8000 or XPR7550e,
when making large changes, wireless seems like a great option.
    Thanks for your videos!

Wonder if the audio is sufficient to use for a digital interface for HF digital modes. Would probably work better with a couple short cable ends instead of the hard attached plugs. You should try it with your g106 in place of the huge box they have for digital connection. With appropriate adaptors it would work with many hf radios using the com port for cat / ptt and the audio in / out for mic / speaker interface.

I have a question for you guys ,
is it possible to use this cable for sending the baseband out of the radio.
specifically , to use the pager signal channels .
I have sdr , however it would be nicer to use an actual radio with antenna to
extract and send to the computer .
most people say it's not possible with cheaper radios using
    S.o.C. technology.
What are your thoughts on this .

for a dedicated machine, I'd put in in /etc/rc.local as the last line before exit(0) -- be aware that when you do this, direwolf will likely be running as root and it will be looking for /root/direwolf.conf instead of the one in your user's home directory.
