It was the most one sided possible challenge and it was insanely good odds for them and Artosis is a caster
If 3 people worker-rushed a pro with perfect map knowledge, then yes.
If they all played protoss and built a pylon in arty's base then yes GG.

Hey, Ludwig won the last game! Sure, he was on Artosis's team, and it was touch and go for a bit, but he won! Also won with the cheese strat, so Lud won 2 out of 3 games. Technically.

To be fair Atrioc was pretty good, he's like average level, Stanz was beginner level and Lud was basically irrelevant lmao.
It's just that Artosis is THAT good to make an average player look like complete shit. And the most insane part is that the best players in the world make HIM look like shit too.
So many levels in that game, it's actually insane.
Wait in starcraft is it that one game with like a few different races like 3 i think. Also like any gathering game if you have this many more people in a team it should be a insant win if your half decent. Because no matter how good your enimy is. You just have so many more resources that it doesn’t even matter.
The only way someone thats very good even has a chance is that they take them out early before they have a chance to build up. Or take over enough of the map quick enough that you can actually overload them and have enough resources to make up enough for how much they make. Though this can be destroyed from propery corrlation bewteen attacks. If you try building up your defenses and preparing for long haul your gonna lose it for sure. Because they will just completly overwelm you with relentless amounts of troops from their insane amount of resources.
Now if ludwig actually did something maybe they could of won. No matter how little he did as long as he actually did something it would be enough. I had this experience first hand

For those unfamiliar with Starcraft, Artosis is a professional CASTER, not a professional player. He is still a very good Starcraft player, but not as refined in build mechanics and unit control where pros really shine.

luved the "archon" mode with artosis, probably the best fun for both and most usage, too
RTS are definitely that kind of game with huge-ass skill gaps.
Hell, even between amateurish players; I remember playing AoE 2 with two friends, and me and one of the two had to always team up against the other AND create "honour rules" (basically, no early rush) because the third guy had a way better APM, probably thanks to piano.
We even all kinda acknowledged that he was the best by far, that I was decent enough at defense and resource gathering to keep up in these domains, and that my teammate really wasn't that great at either speed nor strategy, so even between three amateurs we all knew who would win against who in 1v1s before even clicking play.
Idk if it’s true but doesn’t actually have a lot of mechanics stuff also compared to AoE?

Skillgaps would be even more pronounced.
A lot of players tend to think that honor rule will save you from apm player... but its the opposite , they will take 10 bases and run you over

Then again, APM dude wasn't mean, just REALLY good, so he kinda just went soft early-game before we were ready to have an actual brawl.

Artosis and Tasteless are still casting Korean Brood War and it's absolutely amazing.
The Korean pro-scene is very much still alive. StarCraft ain't the mainstream juggernaut it was 10-20 years ago, but it's still got a playerbase as large as StarCraft 2

I have no idea how to play starcraft but I've played somewhat similar games and it kept looking like Ludwig would group troops send them to attack something then group them again so they would stop and send them to attack the same thing
Artosis has about 300 apm on average. 350 during peak combat. 220-260 during regular game play. He's an A+ to S- Player on Korean servers with an average of 2100-2200 MMR.
He is a professional caster and has played for 22 years. Very skilled and intelligent player, however very salty and rages a bit often.
Professional players have from 350 to 550 APM in game usually. 300 at a minimum. They usually have 2400 to 2800 MMR.
If anyone was wondering how close he was to actually pro.
