Mike goes over his terrible performance at the NRL Hunter GA match held at Arena Training Facility. He discusses what caused it and how to avoid his mistakes.
Great video 👍🏻 👍🏻 Would have helped me a bit though if you had posted it before you joined us here in South Africa.😂 Doubted my zero and cost me some serious points on the first three stages. 🤦🏻🤦🏻 Don't fix want ain't broke. 🤷😂😂 Was awesome having you guys out here and an absolute pleasure squadding with you and Kili. Hope to see you guys again soon. George
Appreciate the information. Learn through others. I'm competing in mammoth next week for my first long range competition. I'm not using any fancy things like the impact 4000, just range finding binos and a dope chart. We'll see how it goes.
Hey mike you like running the impact 4000? I am using one this year as well and i have been really liking it. (Edit) watched the whole video and got my answer lol. It was definitely a learning curve remembering to dial to 0 after every shot. PS miss you guys in the NW.
I usually RO those I live 35min from arena, I was just busy this time, BTW that damn bad boy buggy has impelled many peoples A-hole on the e-brake handle 😂
@@adub-hp1jo lol I noticed there was some (wrong target ) calls that’s not totally accurate from what’s supposed to happen I was taught to say (no call)
Thanks for the video Mike. Is the Impact 4000 vibration induced shift the diving board mount moving, the scope moving, or zero shift of the laser itself in your opinion? What shift is the JB Weld mitigating?
It’s ATTEMPTING to mitigate small shifts in the diving board that have a big effect on the LRF.I personally also think the vibration affects how the LRF attaches to the diving board as well.
@@longrangewiththelillys1221 Not sure. I had friends at the match and they said you complained about the sub 200 and bear past 900. Both stages were thrown out after you called Travis. Did that not happen?
Thanks for sharing your experience as usual! I live vicariously through you guys! Lol Looking forward to the Africa content!
I appreciate the knowledge share Mike. Thank you.

How'd it go?
Ouch. Glad you got it dialed in and had fun in Africa!

Take the good with the bad, thanks for sharing.
Man watching this really makes me miss shooting at arena often
I was using the dope of my 308 on my 6.5CM last match, also my first match ever so nerves got the better of me.

Dang. Coulda witnessed the meltdown and stage throwing in person!

Why are the inverted tripods better?
I find they are more intuitive and faster to use.
You have a Long Range shooting CZcams channel, you need to know you are going to be held to a higher standard than what you hold yourself up to.
Not sure what you mean there. Can you rephrase?
The stages at Arena look more like a PRS match.
What about the stages you got thrown out?
I personally didn’t get any stages thrown out. I think you have speaking on behalf and personally responsible confused.

@@nvlaser9084 I don’t even know about a sub 200 stage. And no that’s not how things went down.
