@@randyshaw927 it’s runnin on one cylinder he needs to pull the spark plug wires one at a time to find the dead cylinder
@@averagecarguy420
I'm with you there.
One cylinder is not firing.
She looked sweet on the bike. You meet the nicest people on a Honda!
I have so much respect for people that are willing to work to fix these old beautiful machines
Have a go yourself!
😀👍
that little CB is too cool. it amazes me how the style & look changed without the blue paint. it’s a classic. my dad used to customize CBs back in the ‘60s in San Diego. I’ll send him a link. he always said they’re bulletproof & this series is testimony. nice work again, Dude.
I'm a cancer patient I don't get around much you keep me entertained.i love motorcycles.
As mentioned before, this Bike has brought back a lot of fun memories.
The Bike I owned was two years older, but it too was Heavy in the front end. And Suspension was nothing like what we have today. And Handling, I think had yet to be Invented. In those days, it was thought to be Good Enough if the Bike just turned. Never mind if the Bike would Kill you if you attempted to go through a corner at Speed. Back then, there wasn't a lot of Driving on the side of the tires. If you did, you would probably end up in the Ditch, and Dead.
I am trying to recall what the Top Speed of my Bike was. . . probably 85 mph, maybe 95ish if the Wind was behind me. Was barely 16 years old, and weighed in at a Scrawny 155 lbs.
The only Bike from that era that had any Handling was the Yamaha RD-350. A Great bike. Quick, and one of the best rides to own. They were a Two cycle engine. A Handsome Bike.
But, I Loved my Honda CB 350. My first Road bike.
The Rd350lc is the same engine that’s in the Banshee.
Keep this one. Seems to run good and a twin cylinder. Mostly original.
350four were a lot more rare in the USA
Joe you do a great job of bringing all these vintages bikes and quads back to life.. Great Video.
You say joe in every comment
Allso hes realy lycky he even kan buy these things for SO F ING CHEAP
@@lifeononeweel3008 probably because that's his name..

That’s a genuine original bike!
Worth keeping
@@thomasc6412 that is true
Till he brake cleaned the paint job 🤦🏼
@@rondon9968 that was done by previous owner thats why it came off so easy honda oem paint doesnt come off that easy
I liked the red/white/blue lol but he loves the original look of his bikes.
I find it entertaining and educational how you figure out each problem. Electrical seems like a nightmare but you diagnosed it whereas I would have given up. I suppose each issue had a finite number of possibilities and that's how you can find the answer to each. Proper tools are necessary. Nicely done. This was a good one.
Those 350 and 250 engines were some of the best engines honda ever produced beautiful sound
What I love about your videos is how easy you make everything look. Your just a hard working cool dude !
Well, that certainly brought back some memories. Thanks! I had same color scheme on my 1968 Honda CB350 I bought while in high school in junior year in 1972. The first and last rear tire I have had go flat at 70 mph. Those tubed tires really let loose when they would suddenly lose air. To keep it upright and gradually slow down, I had to follow where ever the bike decided to go. Thankfully there was no traffic close to me on the Interstate highway so I could keep it upright. First I have seen your channel. Awesome!
This is making me really miss my '69 CB350... even though I ride a Harley now, the little CB350s were light and nimble, and a fun bike to ride.
love the vintage bike flips. Minty Jade is super cute too!
That's brilliant, fair play. I have a CB750k which needs little bit of work, after watching your videos with CB350 I'm encouraged to do it myself. Before I was afraid to touch it !
Dude....watching your videos makes me feel like I can fix anything. Love your content and the great attitude you exude. 👍👍
I bought a new CB350 in 1971. I paid about $850. I took it on a 2 month trip. Mine was gold with a white stripe on the tank.
Nice barn find ! We picked up a 1973 Honda CL350 Scrambler about 17 years ago and still own it . The Honda 350 series from 70's are awesome bikes.
My 71 was gold. It would top out about 132mph. Those are good ole bikes. Built bullet proof.
You should use steel wool soap and water and then polish the exhaust and all the other crome it has
Nice job getting that old Honda to run again. I miss mine that I had way back in the 80s in high school. They are such fun little bikes to ride.
New bikes just cant compare to those classic machines. Great job on saving another beautiful bike.
These are among the best bikes Honda ever built. Reliable, easy to service and maintain. I've ridden one version or another of the CB350 or CL360 all over south and Central Texas. Too many times I ran them full throttle to get across this big state. No major problems ever. Worth keeping!
Really enjoyed this sweet old honda sohc motorcycle rebuild. Thank you
you get so lucky with these bikes. nearly every component needed changing on my latest project and it looked ok initially.
I bought mine brand new for $858.. in Salisbury Maryland. Went down on it an hour later avoiding a dog on a sandy street. 1970 were good times with good music.
A friend of mine had one many many years ago. These things were really cool and lasted forever!
Love that bike. My first was a 73 175 Scrambler I bought in 1985. Loved that lil joker.
Cool to see the old bikes come back to life...Good job!
I owned a '69 CL 350 for 6 years. It will do 90 mph. Because of the condition of the motor oil you drained, you might want to consider cleaning out the centrugal oil filter on the right side engine case--small round plate removal will permit access. Thanks for the video.
Beautiful bike. A real classic. Thanks for sharing 🤙🏻
What a find kid!! Get all of it working and you've got a gold mine..hard to find those old pigs! Love it.
I don't know if you're aware go but on some of those old bikes you can turn the ignition switch back and it has a parking light selection. I'm glad to see you got that going your way.
That's great you were able to get a Petcock for it. Back before PCs were in the homes I had a "terrible" time to get one for a 71 Kawasaki trail boss . I just did what I could back then and turned around and sold it.
Great find and great work!!!!! Sounds like the cam chain and or valves need adjusting.
Man does that ever look better once you got the blue off the tank your bike turned out great. As they say diamond in the rough.👍👍👍
love the twin leading front brake shoes,,set up properly,,they worked as well if not better than the brake disc of the time
Agreed. The CB 125 and 200 had front cable disks for only two years around 1975 and went back to drums. Cable disks are not as good as drum shoes. Hydraulic disks are better than both.
The 2008 Honda CB250 still had twin mechanical drums in North America. They had a hydraulic front disk in Aus, UK and EU. DON'T KNOW WHY. The Rebel got a front disk.
Get that headlight adjusted Down, look silly driving around and sending light signals to planes 😝😂
That bike is a beast for an old dog. I told you I hit 110 brother it loves to rev out such a fun bike
Dude you are one lucky freaking dog!!! You absolutely scored for only $450!! Dude that is so cool! I'm really glad you kept the paint original too, congratulations on your find brother! have fun with her and be safe!
Probing for power at the turn signal switch comming in and out would have been usful as well
I had a sweet CM400T when I was a teen. I love those old bikes.
Great job on the blinkers!!!!
What a great find of a bike I have had a number of CB’s all were very reliable. Good luck with it please don’t customize it just enjoy it as is.
Really appreciate the way you reuse serviceable parts and pieces, I tend to always buy new, which quickly overvalues
es my projects! Nice job with your videos, very informative! Please date a number you sequences so that I can find and follow the individual builds. Ed
Great job joe these are great bikes well worth fixing for sure 👍👌🔧🔧🔧
Mid 50's early 60's the great revolution of motorcycles was in Angola when the CB 50 to 175 to 200 to 350 appeared and the top to 750 four the Japanese destroyed the competition. Well, as we can see, they already had a starter motor, blinkers, 12v battery, suspensions of the best, it was the beginning of a very long walk. I watched all this...thanks for the video
350s were the shit back then. I had one and also a 300 super hawk. Great old bikes 🏍 and times!
That turned out great. It is pretty nice.
it came out great and can't beat the honda quality
Hi from New Zealand, when you change the oil,its a good idea to remove and clean the centrivical filter.Youll need the correct tool to remove the special nut it has securing it. cheers Graeme
Back in the late 70's I had a CB250, after a year riding it I felt the need for more power so I bought a big bore kit that took it out to 370 cc, I also ported the head and installed a race cam, then a pair of noisy straight through silencers, the thing really flew and pulled hard past 12k rpm, but too much use of those high revs eventually killed it, sure was fun while it lasted though..
Glad you got rid of the blue. I can't believe how easy it came off without damaging the factory paint. The previous owner probably just spray painted it on there.
What an absolute gem. You really scored here!
I'd run the wheels of that thing. Nothing better than an original vintage bike, so much better than a anything new. The 350 4 is the bike though. Rare as hens teeth
I'm smiling....love Hondas and this video...nice!
Great video!! Great revival!! That bike is cool!!!
Nice bike and well done but it needs some fine tuning. Remember when your comments were nothing but hate? hahaha you've come a long way sir but much more for you to learn.
Sweet bike - don't be afraid to rev it out - they'll happily buzz to the 10k redline. Good job.
I had one of these motorcycles in 1979 when I was stationed at Misawa Air Base, Japan. I tried off-roading it. LOL. The fork and shock bottomed out on every jump.
Have same bike from gentleman who bought it new and they rode it on a farm - has 8k miles. And everything is on it including factory crash cage. A bit better shape than that one - Purple color.... It was a good find for $500. Nice to see them being enjoyed.
I am so glad you are bringing it back to it's classic glory . People do dumb things to these machines , cut off the back of the frame , remove the fenders and put on those gay-ass crotch rocket tires . I know what they are trying to do make a track bike or Cafe racer out of them but it just destroys the motorcycle. I love your machine keep up the good work. J-D
I had a 1970 CB 350 when I was 15 years old, but I had bought it second-hand and the motor has been going through and the guy I bought it from had a broken arm and a broken leg and he pulled me aside and show me all the work I've been done to the engine, and I had a lot of internal work, I've been bored out and had a bigger cam in and two larger carburetors.
What a beauty! That is more than a bargain. Please more bikes and less quads partner. Good work 👍🏍
Great job man. Beautiful bike.
Get a plate and use it to take out and rejuvenate yourself on thise crappy days 👍
Great job on this bike Joe.
The stats say that the bike will go a little over 100. I had a 1972 model and I got it up to 95 and the front wheel started floating so I shut it down. But then I was young then and indestructible, if you know what I mean. I road it all over Oklahoma at 65 miles and hour, but I felt like with the RPM's the way they were that it was most comfortable for me at 60, so that is usually what I rode it at. Great bike and a great video. Thanks.
It sounds so nice at idle. Such a happy bike!
Like the red white and blue setup.
you can buy a cable lubricator that clamps right on the cable , you can connect your spray lube directly to it and get lube all the way through the cable , they work great
Again it’s 1:00am and you upload still gotta watch it I don’t t need sleep i need answers
as always good work joe well done
That turned out awesome!
Beauty! Back when a 350 was a BIG bike!
Looks good red white and blue
Well done mate, great bike and video.
Can see you trying , check out ' common motor' videos on here , stiff steering - strip/clean/re-grease and adjust the steering head bearings or replace with taper roller , will sort the stiffness , do not know if you had the wheels off stripped the brakes, cleaned old grease off brake cams , re-greased etc , have you cleaned up the crome ?, greased the swingarm pivot ? Its a tidy bike , zorsts still do not look right ! Hope you keep and finish sorting .
great job Joe, sweet vid!!
Honda's CB 350 is back in India with the styling borrowed from the original bike. I own one and it's awesome to ride.
Definitely a classic worth keeping 👌
The exhaust was much quieter on a new one. A friend of mine had one exactly like that in 1970 and it it was pretty quiet compared to what I'm hearing in the video.
Very nice bike must be so comfortable!
Thats an dope find for 450 brother..always finding them
Great little town cruiser bikes. Good gas mileage and plenty of power.
It has a tight sound did you check the valve adjustment they may need to be loosened up those bikes also have a cam chain adjustment behind the cylinder I had a 1973 with a front disc brake it was lots of fun
My best friend growing up had one of those. Loved riding that thing. I wanted one in a bad way. Till he totaled it so we went back to playing Zaxxon on his Colecovision.
29:28 I'm amazed how similar this thing sounds to the '23 Honda CB350 sold in India including the deceleration sound.
Careful with the points cam. They like to snap and spin. It will run ruff or not at all.
Wow....I love that machine...
Such a dope bike how can u hate a bike with dual exhausts
Awesome bike and repairs! Beautiful area you live in👍
Excellent beautiful bike for sure another great save god bless you 👍🙏🏴🍀
That looked familiar; the first 350 Honda I revived also had a drain bolt that was incredibly tight; scared me! I was sure that the threads were stripped or soon would be - took an incredible amount of force to break it loose. I think it is due to the huge amount of surface area on the plug.
Great video, bro. Thanks.
These old Honda's never die.
Awesome video, great job
I don't know why but that horn cracks me up lol
You might want to invest in a cable lube tool. It makes lubricating cables super easy!
@VIKING BIKING exactly right that's what l do.
