- When we think of Bob Marley, we envision the iconic reggae superstar whose music transcended borders and cultures, spreading messages of love, unity, and social change. However, behind this legend stood a remarkable woman whose influence and support played a pivotal role in shaping Bob Marley into the global icon he became. That woman is Rita Marley, Bob's wife.
The Biopic just shows that every king needs a Queen. She was his rock regardless of what most men do but one thing for a fact is his heart was with her . A man cannot love two women at the same time but one and be fond of others ..

People want and need Bob's version of the truth,not anybody's version no matter how close they think they are to Bob. So the truth is what's close to Bob Marley not any lies, it's imprisoning the real Bob Marley.

Some people are soooo jealous if the role Rita played. History is History....can't be touched or changed. Go and write your own. Ziggy and all if Bob's friends told the story. Some people just can't deal with the truth.

The sad thing about all this is that revealing the truth about Bob Marley makes certain people uncomfortable and yet it's just the truth and that is what people need no matter what Ziggy or his mother wants. If you look at Bob's life, it doesn't approve with what others are doing.
Other people and certain women...we don't need to call names. But there is nothing they can do with her.. she was the only wife and queen. Bob Marley knew how important Rita was to him. Others just ride the coat tail and enjoyed the fruit of Bob and Rita hard labour. I hope they shut their mouths after the authentic movie.
When Bob Marley was alive he threw Rita wedding ring in the Ocean .
Rita and Chris Blackwell from Island records gave Bob radio active hash the night he died in Florida. The CIA wanted him dead. And THEY wanted his $$. Got this from a credible source! So this guy doesn't have any answers.
Please study the history of their relationship. The movie was a love story from Ziggy to Rita. This was not a biopic, it was a movie about the One Love concert. Half the story have never been told!
