Best zombie designs in video games imo. Reminiscent of the zombies from zombie land. Also the fire zombies are disturbingly realistic to actual burn victims. Great stuff.
i like the variety of zombies they've come up with, plus the designs are realistic, like im convince these are their last worn outfits before turned.
No Rams or Wrestlers… hopefully in DLC we get either a Prison or a Desert like in GTA V.

@@rundro4808 in the riptide expansion you have a zombie with a massive arm who attacked by swinging it at you. They were called wrestlers.
They could add the ram back in by making a crusher who lost its arms

Man, they really got creative with all the types of zombies you can encounter. Sadly my pc cant run this game but it looks amazing!

It’s bad enough Butchers are psycho melee bastards in the first DI but now they had to make them regenerate??!
Yeah, and I can't wait to pump them full of lead like the first dead island ones (best strategy to dealing with them unless you were a fully decked out Xian)
They also regenerate in the first dead island. They do this when they are clenching their, uhhh bones that was shaped like a sword.

Glad im not the only one who wants to deal with the zombies from the resident evil remakes again in a new game,(zombie design from resident evil 2&3 remake are still my favourite type of zombie in game ever,pretty much the walking dead zombies vibes)yes raccoon city open world map would be dope,let the hope never die guys!

The zombies look super cool, and the variants help bring more flavor into the game. I hope we see more types in future dlc.

Tbh i wish the runners retained their bloodshot eyes like in the original, or make them look like the infected in 28 days later. Man that shit terrified me as a kid.
I seen a few different videos and it seems some do have the bloodshot eyes although mostly if it's a intact one

The mutator reminds me of the necromorphs from dead space.
I’m hoping for more quests, new weapons and locations like downtown LA or the overrun airport. Some huge urban areas would be cool. Imagine if there was a DLC and since it’s trios it would be with the other 3 main characters (sorry John)
Voltaic screamer sounds absolutely insane, imo
I'm sad they didn't bring back the Ram, those were fun to fight.
The Firemen and Military Zombie looks Cool
I am a really easily scared guy in video games but i had no friends to play this game with. I was fine with it not scaring me enough to let me quit its usually really well lit with light after all but then the mutator came. I am glad there wasnt much game after this left.
This one part with the horde of Zombies in the underground station where Mutators and Screamers come.
You would quake in your little balls when you see the clown butcher
@@madmonty4761 I had no problem with that one. As i mentioned there was only one part that was so scary to me in this game i couldnt play it without turning on a one hit ko cheat. (singleplayer i dont cheat online).
Right before the end of the game the underground station where a horde of Zombies including screamers and mutators walk around. Its so dark and then thoose come around. Also i couldnt beat them with my weapons.

@@madmonty4761 Well fury needs alot of time to reload. I had no fury. Just alot of broken weapons and a little bit of ammunation cause the butcher that came right before that part took all my stuff.

See why can’t more zombie games do this. I’m fine with slaying through some normal zombies with a few special infected (left 4 dead comes to min in that category), but most zombie games I’ve played seems cut and dry in the diversity. Here I’m not only killing zombies, but ones that are immune to certain attacks and elemental effects. Heck even the apex zombies have different versions of them and that’s great. That’s all I’m saying is just add some extra spice to other zombie games to make it fell less dull.
The bursters are technically not dead like the suiciders they might be a human who may have been sick before the infection for example the human might had a virus or cancer and it got worse when the infection spread against the body so while the mind is conscious the body is not which is why you here to repeat this sentence help me as if it watch this curse to end by putting it out of its misery.
Edit: please understand this is a theory.

@@rivahoukes1554 hope they get the straight jacket, the mask, and his kicks right, cause yes, he can practically insta kill you in the original, and also could count as one of the.most powerful, cause I done an AI battle between dead island zombies before and the RAM won against a butcher surprisingly
@@Grimreaper67778 i hope they update its design and wat of acting alittle. The original one felt more like a distraction rather then a threat, especially at later levels.
I hope they make it feels and act as scary as it felt the first time you heard its screams
@@rivahoukes1554 ya that is true, the one time I found them really annoying would have to be the prison island one cause it's really tight and narrow hallways and their are way more RAMS in their, and again they have a tendency of insta killing the player with a well timed RAM
honestly seeing these zombies variants just made me depressed. these were once people and they’re dead because of a dude who infected them

Do vicious butchers eat their blades or are there tiny pieces of meat on them?
Any damage they do to the players, either from being kicked or by slashing at you, gives it an opportunity to heal from your wounds. Probably the second worst zombie type to come across, imo.
I have a fun fact about runners
The fund fact is newly infected people turn in to runners cuase they are more aggressive and more ‼️ alert

The mutator is kinda a new idea of that. I personally hate that there are no rams, a zombie you meet in act 2 of the original dead island
Well the mutated arm is on the opposite arm than the wrestler so little not like the wrestler but good point why no rams either
Well every area must have its own unique things, so I guess you won’t encounter the same thing every new game.

there is no new Apex variant in the HAUS DLC
The infected/runners aren't even scary in this game like the first dead island they can just be annoying at times

Yea never liked it anyways. They seem too specific to be massed in the horde. They all looked like mental patients who got out of different institutions, at the same time. They dont look feasible enough. Plus they were a straight up copy of l4d2 chargers back in 2011.
