I used to not wear my designer bags and stopped buying them because I didn't want to get judged by people. But now i don't care. I love my bags...and they do bring me joy. I buy them so I can use them period. Now I wear my LV bag while wearing a TShirt and sweats to pick up my kids from school. I love it...

I am in agreement with all the points, Lou. I used to have such guilty feelings regarding all the purchase mistakes I made along the years (= money thrown out the window because designer bags are expensive to purchase and not easy to move on if they’re not for you). But I’m not alone in this journey and now I understand that it takes years before you really understand what style you enjoy and before you make that decision of not letting yourself be influenced by social media or the hype around a new item, etc. Great video, great reminders! ❤

Great video!!! I am going to get some of my bags out of the boxes and start carrying them! I am always so afraid of getting a scratch or a stain.
It’s a process! I left all my boxes when I moved and gave them away. It was to complicated to bring with me, it was a bit hard but bags are bags! Use them and enjoy them

This is such a good content, good work as always Lou! I am just now feeling content with the chanel collection I have. A jumbo black caviar, a med beige caviar, a small 19 light beige. I felt so FOMO not having the medium black caviar, but recently something snapped and I say no I wouldn’t buy it just because everyone on youtube says it is the classic of the classic or that the price keep increasing. I look at my collection and I know they rock for all occasions I could have needed. My current wishlist is actually a lindy 26/30, I love love it so much. I know everyone on youtube is crazy forkelly/birkin, but I know lindy fits my lifestyle so much better.

My experience is soooo similar to yours with the mistakes. My first LV was a beautiful neverfull in the emperiente the leather but I really wanted the PSM and of course they didn’t have it. I have since then sold that bag and bought the PSM when it was more available. Patience is key for the bags that you want
The psm was such a pain to find 😂😂 so glad now it’s way easier to get

I have thought about it a lot! So far I don’t feel like I have a true need or use for it other than just having the trifecta so I have not bought it. Maybe in the future if I find like I can use it daily but I don’t want to be impulsive just to have it 🙃

Was watching your bag reviews only to find a video on the internet about you using fake replica bags. Are your bags authentic or not and if not why do you try so hard to portray yourself as something your not? Reviewing fake replica bags would still earn you a lot of views so I don’t get the dishonesty.
The video you are talking about is from a CZcams channel that actually sells Hermès Replicas themselves. Anything they claimed on that video is literally nonsense and when I try to comment there they just delete my comments or responses, I highly encourage you to see the way they reply to people and such too 😕. I have a literal video getting the bag at the store, I don’t own a single fake/replica and I never will. Checking their channel a bit further you can tell they are a page that claims to accuse people on CZcams for views but they are literally just promoting their product. They started harassing me a month after I posted my first birkin unboxing and they were posting pictures of me on instagram adding “things” to my face . I have said this before to people that ask me about that video, I’m more than happy to provide any sort of proof of authenticity of my bags, I have nothing to hide, any closeup pictures, proof of the day I bought it, receipts, even authenticating in all in 🤍 About their Overall “point”of their video is that the angle of the drop of the bag is first of a lie what they are saying but also how open the bag is and how much of the arm of the bag is actually hanging, if the bag is almost all the way open of course it’s not going to bend that much vs when it’s almost closed, I hope that I’m explaining myself correctly.
Besides that, I don’t think making content about replicas is ok, I don’t judge anyone that buys them themselves but for me I don’t see myself ever supporting that industry and the underlying issues it stands on. I much rather own other handbags from contemporary brands than owning a replica and pretending it’s real on social media. I think it’s quite insane to do that taking into mind that the people that watch this sort of videos own and collect this bags so of course it would be discovered, i would be setting myself to so much harm on social media just to pretend to own something I don’t, I’m already receiving so much hate and mean comments because of this, I would never ever do this. I DO NOT buy fakes, I will never buy fakes, and my messages or email are always open for anyone that wants to ask anything regarding that. It’s been 2 years that “Hermes Above” has been harassing me via CZcams and Instagram, sending me threatening emails and messages, I’m done. I don’t want to engage in this drama anymore as it is nonsense and just handbags. Sad to see the video is gaining traction again with absolutely no ground or point to stand on and people still believe it 😕
@@JesuisLouThe video I was referencing was a CZcams channel called “Don’t Ask” where they show the differences of a real Chanel bag and the one you have shown in one of your videos. I will say that after doing some research after seeing that video people have talked about the stamp and stitching on one of your Hermes bags and how it doesn’t look the same. Of course all of this is speculation. It just seems that the overall consensus is that it is a bit unbelievable to see someone as young as you having so many expensive bags with no clear source of income. I don’t watch your videos regularly so I honestly can’t say if you have addressed this before but I’m assuming that is why people accuse you of using fake replica bags. Sorry to hear that you receive hate messages however, the internet can be a very toxic place.
Okay I do know what video you are talking about, I think it’s the same person but different channel. That bag is from the 21p collection in the small size, you can search on Instagram the hashtag 21p and see the exact same alignment on the quilts of the bag on most of that collection. The idea that every chanel bag is the same is not really correct, also that bag I got it from redeluxe, the only sell authentic bags 🤍 regarding the Hermes bag is what I stated above, if you want to see my receipts and close ups I am happy to provide them.
In terms of my age, well there is plenty of people in this community in a close age range to me, I have addressed this topic quite a few times in the last couple of years, regarding my income my job and what I do now. I have always been quite open with the fact that I had a lot of help from my parents growing up and that with my first bags but most of my collection has been the result of my own work and savings . I want to be respectful but I do want to say that I don’t owe anyone an explanation of every single bit of my life, I am on social media and I choose to share part of it but that does not entitle people to deep dive into my life in a way that is also not even safe to do, I try to be careful with what I share because I am always aware and concerned about the fact that you have no idea who is watching your content and what their intentions are so of course I consider what I share here, family, finance and location, specially before I moved. But people claiming things such: because I am from Mexico something is “not right” is plain ridiculous. I have always been upfront with my character, my feelings and have been very honest with my process buying Hermes and Chanel bags. At this point the only thing that is clear to me is that no matter how much I explain there is no way to convince people that the narrative that “I’m young so of course my bags are fake” is not correct. I understand people may not like me, but degrading me for where I come from, my age or just wild assumptions is just not ok.
As I have always said to whoever has this questions, I have absolutely everything to show and provide proof of authenticity. If it’s beyond gossip and true concern for what I share on social media anyone can always message me and I can definitely help with that, but for some of the comments I get are way more targeted to insult me, making me feel super uncomfortable about ever saying anything personal ever again and also realize how insane it is how people can behave with such a trivial thing as handbags and reviews.
One last time I do want to state that buying replicas funds dark and dangerous organizations, many use kids illegally to produce them, all of it is just illegal and wrong where there is plenty of options out there to have beautiful and great quality bags.
I understand where you are coming from and I am responding because you were genuinely asking and were respectful, beyond this if you want to message me on instagram I definitely mean it, let’s do it we can authenticate the bag you may have concern or I can just provide with the receipt and also proper close ups. I am so sorry if this comes off aggressive as a response but the past couple of months have been filled with nasty and horrible messages and comments that have been making me very uncomfortable.
To be honest, even though I do watch a lot of handbag videos I would not consider myself an expert when it comes to seeing what are fakes and what is not so I don’t think I would be the best person to prove what bags are fake or not. I do appreciate you responding in a respectful manner however and I do hope that things get better for you soon.

offff so many in the past! not now as I have sent back the bags that were defective but I think two of the worst were a bag were the hardware oxidized in the first month and was falling off the bag, and then my first classic flap had a sort of broken bottom? I have the full story where I swapped the bag but it was defective, chanel took it in and after three months they gave me credit for the value of the bag prior to a price increase so I had to pay a lot more to get the exact same bag (which they did not even have in stock) they pressured me to come out with something that day from the store which was so odd given the fact that they did not have a single black medium or small classic flaps, so I ended up with a bright red jumbo and paying like 900 euros more. just because my bag was defective :/
