    gotta use the 90 series shimano brake hose if you run slx (xt xtr saint) 4-pot calipers, as the 90 series hose is their high-pressure hose. I tried to cobble together the cheap 400 series brake levers with saint calipers and it was not very powerful due to the 400 series lower pressure brake hose. You lose a lot of power via the brake hose.

      I ran the jag wire saint hoses. The banjo bolt became loose after many miles the saint hoses are best

    Nah you just need a good brake pads and calipers and levers just make sure no leaks and properly bleed the brakes or even compress more oil to it then seal it properly. For modulation you can always adjust the lever

      Pads do play massive role

      with levers its mostly about the feel you want i think. the mt200 levers are longer than say the clarks m2 levers on my commuter. certain lever/caliper combos give different feel on the brakes. the actual power is mostly the pads, as most hydraulic brake calipers (in one category, being 2 or 4 piston) will behave roughly the same

    You should try Uberbike E matrix pads for your ebike. I ride a Cube Stereo Hybrid, bought it second hand pads came with the bike durable and not to expensive………. Well worth a try !

      I was trying to use TRP levers, but they don’t sell them. Also no chance your getting parts at local store for TRP. Tried them and they felt good.

    • @OtterMTBtech
      @OtterMTBtech  Před rokem +1

      Yes, but it’s 2 mm Allen key, that’s blocked by your shifter and dropper

    MTB brakes are crap.
    What's the most absolute most aggressive brake combo I can get for my bicycle?
    Honest question.
    I want mouse-click from 0-STOP without an engineering solution to make it match my moto.
