I felt like a weapons designer at Bungie this week.
Did you try the bxr battler frame on any of your handcannons / sidearms?
Makes me wish bungie could let us have a weapon forge mode to test out ludicrous combos like these just for fun.

I wouldn't be surprised if this glitch ends up having bungie put unique perk options on future weapons, which. It could definitely help spice up the sandboxes.

I find it funny that people think this is giving bungie ideas for me unique perk combos on guns when they probably tried these perks on those guns and didn’t put them on there for the very reason these glitches are showing.

This is why you and Cammycakes are my favorite destiny content creators. You two don't just follow the generic mode of "this perk do more damage so best only use". You actually dive into weird and unique perk combinations to test things no one else thinks of

Dynamic Sway Reduction on a fusion rifle is one of my top things I'd like to see at some point. I know it would be too much but I want it.

I think if it came on a fusion with barely any range, it would be okay. Just a shorter range super accurate one. They'd have to be real careful with it though.
Add the fundamentals to any weapon and it will become a void weapon. (Even Kinetic weapons like Rufus's fury)
This is a neat little trick so you'll be able to run a void weapon in every slot.

I know this glitch has been negative in a lot of people’s eyes but I have enjoyed the freedom to choose and all the crazy combos that have come alongside it. I can’t remember the last time I had this much fun or laughed so much while playing Destiny. Hopefully some of this craziness gives Bungie some ideas on new interesting weapons/archetypes they could potentially make
Yeah I get why it's been a bummer for many, but MAN have I had fun crafting dream weapons and trying them all out.

Dynamic Sway Reduction on a fusion makes me wonder if Bungie would be game an exotic that works like a fusion rifle Nemesis Star: Start with a fast charge time, then grow slower and more accurate with each consecutive shot within a certain timing window.

What you have just shown me was that Brigand's Law with Cascade Point is the same as the Tech 22 sidearm from Remnant 2, and that brought SO MANY IDEAS to my head that now I'm sad it won't happen in Destiny 2. XD
I'll admit, some weapons would have a whole new set of ideas and combinations that would shake the Final Shape up WAY more if they were possible. However, after having witnessed (and experienced first hand) the effects of these weapon combinations, I can see why there's weapon perk limitations.
And of all weeks to finally be brave and play trials all for the warlock helmet (I was very lucky to got it on my first engram), I don't know if I'll be brave enough to do it again...

I did a headstone/firefly scout for pve. Hope one day that combo becomes available. Wanted it for so long.

I did neutral damage perks on a whole bunch of weapons they don’t belong on. Whirlwind blade on fast rpm weapons and box breathing on slow rpm. It is wild
Double enhanced Eager Edge Goldtusk was fun while it lasted. The semi-fix before the full update gave it Cold Steel automatically.

All this got me thinking, double stacking perks is such an interesting concept and it would work so well too. You're giving up one perk entirely to make the other one twice as strong, it's a super cool idea. Obviously it's broken with some perks and useless with others, but i feel like they could adjust it with either diminishing returns or limiting it to specific perks entirely. Either way, was really cool to see actually working (:
Wow! I didn’t realize funny weapons were still possible. That explains a few things! Unfortunately the last couple of days I haven’t been able to play much due to error codes and resulting crucible restrictions.
You should try Hunters Trace from Revision Zero on top of your Fusion Rifle roll you had here. It just gives a massive stat buff to every stat aside impact, including an extra ~20 range.
Similarly for your legendary last word you can use the frame from the BXR for essentially perfect hipfire accuracy.

I do hope the not too broken stuff might get add in the future with getting to see how these perks worked together and that a bug this bad doesn't happen again for at least a year

Maybe have hard to get weapons that can drops with these insane combos or something.

Awesome review! I would love to see cascade legit roll on a 180 hc. That perk would make them more versatile as a secondary cleanup option.

I didn't really mess around putting different perks on guns they didn't belong on, though I should have by the looks of things. That dynamic sway fusion has my mouth watering lol
I mostly stuck to turning guns into shotguns and that alone took a huge toll on my mats so as soon as they started (attempting) to fix things I stopped and deleted the broken guns.
I will say, as much as I loved melting enemies in GMs with my shotty Rufus, my favorite was still finally getting to experience borderlands style masher pistols in Destiny. It was like combining my two favorite games!
I’d bet me last dollar we see some of these combos in the future after this video!

I feel like the idea of a hip fire or discord + cascade point on a hand cannon would actually be really cool and not terribly unbalanced. I hope we get to see that sometime, maybe even as a tex mechanica weapon to lean into the legendary last word vibe. Cascade point in general is just such a stupidly fun perk even though other options are often better.
With the damage bug on pellet shotty's, I ended up reshaping my Slug with Enh. Hipfire Grip/Off-Hand Strike and Aggressive Sniper Frame. Lets just say it was a mapping no scope machine 😂

I really wanted a faster firing dead man's tale. But I'm on console and can't get it to work. No matter what I try. That and I stg crafted dead man's tale is bugged now. Because no matter what you do the hipfired accuracy is completely gone.
I desperately wanted to make a keep away opening shot precision frame bow but I don’t have the patience to deal with this glitch anymore 💀
When the shotgun frames weren't locked, I recreated pocket infinity. But with this, Assault Mag, Dynamic Sway Reduction, and Precision Instrument, on a Disparity was scary.

By the way, incandescent was working before the first patch, I put it on a void now along with successful warmup and the shotgun frame and it was phenomenal for GMs
I honestly think we should see more elemental perks on non-matching energy types.
Getting Incandescent on a Kinetic weapon, Voltshot on a Solar weapon, etc. I feel like limiting the perk options just based on damage type really takes away the possibility of cool combos.

tried to make a double gutshot straight eremite (for pve obv) but i didn’t have zaouli (the only weapon that rolls it on 3rd column) sadly.

enhanced zen moment + enhanced headseeker on rufu's fury was so fun. as the reticle stayed more accurate your headshot damage went up too from HS. dunno if it became a TTK shift or not but was super fun.
How much does it increase your damage? Just for curiosity since I don't have any 720rpm auto rifle pattern yet

My most recent creation is a 540 RPM BxR with Assault Mag and the RPM goes even higher with Desperado and Kill Clip
I can the Frame to pop up but not the perks what am I doing wrong?
If you could put the bxrr frame on a hand cannon that hip with all the hip fire perks that would probably be the legendary last word
with how many perks are nerfed on fusion or because of it, id be surprised if they put dsr/zen or even ohs on future ones

Wish I had more craftable weapons and perks unlocked. I only did a few cool combos.
Bungie should really take notes on making official fun combinations like some of these. A little broken maybe but some amazing rolls

briars contempt also has incandescent in the first column so on word of crota u could have had all the light subclass verbs at once

I geniuely thought about Dynamic Sway on certain guns but HOLY DYNAMIC I DIDN'T THINK IT WORK THAT WELL ON FUSIONS

Offhand strike still works well post range zoom changes? For me it only gave me +1m so I've taken it off.
It just depends on the weapon and it's range stat. Definitely gives a good boost.

The not-a-slug shotgun you get by replacing the frame on a slug is ridiculous. It shoots like a normal shotgun, except every pellet is a slug with slug damage and range. You just point in someone's general direction and they die.
i had chill clip and explosive payload on a trace rifle
You should take a look at the Deadpan Delivery shotgun. Aggressive frame that rolls with Slickdraw. Might be a sleeper pick!
Yeah I keep rolling for that and the SMG but haven’t had too much luck other than an interesting Discord roll for PvE
@@Legoleflash I feel that. They seem impossible to get. I got a decent roll of the SMG though. SMG is not worth it for pvp, I can say that much
@@The_Stickle_Cell I think it could be interesting if you get the well-rounded + fragile focus roll, it's a TON of range packed into it.
@@Legoleflash it's an interesting roll for sure but the issue with the 900 rpm archetype is that with target lock, it has the same TTK as Immortal but with way less forgiveness and range.
If you have supremecy you can make a sniper with triple tap and fourth times the charm. I dont have supremacy but i want to see someone do it

Congrats. I tried to do similar. Did everything I could to slow down my system, but there’s only so much you can do on console. Spent hours clicking. Couldn’t get the glitch to happen even once. Might have allowed me to do content as a solo player I’ve never been able to do. Now it’s been disabled-although the weapons created haven’t been. So the “rich” will get richer, and we “poors” will remain just that. Honestly, it’s enough to to make me want to quit after almost 10 years of playing.

I tries to get a few whacky combos like these but after my first 90 minutes i couldn't get the glitch to work again. 0% success sadly. I rwally wanted to try a 4 burst austringer. Wish i kept my high impact bow to mess with

as a lucky pants enjoyer in PVE, i've been yearning for a tex mechanica hand cannon to roll with FTTC and cascade point some time in the future. Sure we just got warden's law, but it's not a true tex weapon.
DMT with 1x Offhand Strike feels weirdly balanced imo. Not as crazy as the period where DMT was the #1 Trials weapon, but still enhances DMT's identity

Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing something like DSR on a fusion in the future, toned down obviously. Maybe a raid or trials fusion, since raid & trials weapons tend to be rather spicy with their perks and stats.
