Who puts a plate of food on the table for someone who hasn’t arrived yet? The scenes in the elevator went on too long. The jump scare was excellent.

I like the "Don't Be Lazy" concept...But using someone whose on crutches makes no sense what-so-ever!! Having broke my ankle on both sides over spring break 2019 I can tell you that *lazy* would NEVER be used to describe someone that has to use crutches to get around. There's nothing lazy about it! Everywhere and anywhere you go takes a big effort....If you used a different type of character this short would be kick a$$😁😍🌚

I know people who are on crutches and/or have one leg and they live high up in tenement buildings and they can get up and down the stairs no problem. I just don't understand why a building like that wouldn't have a buzzer entry system

So his inconsiderate friend does not come home for dinner and comes home very late, plus forgets his keys. John gets awaken by him asking him to come down to the lobby to let him in. John has to get out of bed and go down while doing this on crutches. So the bonus for being considerate, he gets killed instead, interesting. I understand by what they mean, to use the stairs instead of the elevator bc it is just one floor down. However, being on crutches makes it difficult. So, yes he should still be killed. The moral of the story, All nice guys, lose out in the end.
Question here, this lobby looks very nice and up to date. Is the buzzer broken too, to buzz to let him in???
@4:46 did anyone notice the error. The elevator stops on the 5th floor, he looks out and when he does, on the side of the elevator where it shows what floor you are on. It says 2 instead of 5. Then when the elevator door closes, it shows the correct floor number which is 5.
Great bloopers in the end. In the end, honestly it was a great short film.

@@demijour1234 a tenement or a close. A building like the one in the movie with a lift would be called a small block of flats. Btw close is pronounced close as in near not close as in shut

Marvelous! Like so many demons/monsters, it sets its own standards and then punishes anyone who fails to meet them, regardless of circumstance. The buildup of tension in a perfectly normal setting, in his home territory that should be a “safe” place, you can feel his disbelief and slowly dawning awareness. Just wonderful!

Great short film! I think it would have been better to have called it "Don't be lazy minded" as having a lazy mindset makes everything that much more infuriating to do. Even when you have crutches, if you have a more assertive mindset, it helps heal better than when you do everything with a wrong attitude. Thats what really kills a person on the inside.
I would have been freaked out after second time. By the third time I would have been running down the stairs screaming at the top of my lungs. Don't care if something is wrong with elevator or it's something paranormal, I would have just ran at full speed and screaming

It was nice and subtle mind-fuckery until it showed a masked monster at the end. I mean come on, not every horror story needs a monster. I thought the building itself was messing with him, which I found much more nuanced.

what an A**H*** monster. he got some leg injury and going up/down is difficult.
I'm not a fan of elevators. So this was pretty creepy. After the second time you put me on the wrong for I would have got off and took the stairs. When I had broken my leg and had to use crutches I still took the steps I went to the elevator when the teachers made me at school.

What is wrong with everyone?! Why Watch a good short horror film and then dissect the shit out of it? It seems like too many people got hung up on the sign and the fact that he was on crutches....but that’s kinda the point right? He couldn’t take the stairs?! 🙄 not because he was lazy...but because of the crutches....the monster doesn’t care why he was supposedly being lazy, just that he judged him so and killed him..also kinda cool that the elevator kept stopping giving him a opportunity to get off and he doesn’t even when he starts realizing something is off....especially when he hears the running steps. I liked it....keep making them. I promise not to complain that the pool was on the 6th floor like some people. 😂😂😂💕
