Actually Tata ka suspension and handling bht underrated hai...my daily driver is skoda fabia ...i drove tiago for 300 km gurgaon to dehradun and I realised how good the suspension is ..I think it's class leading ....glad you point it out gagan
One thing what I like about Gagan's review is that he is a keen observer of things;He points out things where manufacturers try to squeeze in cost or dont provide the best finishing. In this case it was the wipers popping out on the window. In thar video it was the uneven gaps in the bonnet. These small things are a good indicatos of how much thought and efforts h

Most decent person and sophisticated. Only few people talk about the unnecessary honking behavior of Indians. He is very much aware of this nuisance spread by Indians on road
I hv driven both i20 and altroz diesel but for me altroz is just excellent in ride quality handling and feel from inside.
Even the sound quality and instrument cluster is just next level...
Better to choose altroz.

When altroz was launched I didn't liked its design but after seeing it's road presence in real life and its features really it's a good package

I have Altroz XT(P)...for past 1 month...1000+km
I would talk only about the cons....since there is too much pros to talk about
Con 1 :- Seriously underpowered...
I simply ignored the mileage point of view when purchasing...First priority was safety... Other priorities were looks, features and last performace (since it's my first car... Didn't want to much power 😂)
But compared many other cars online.... Nearly every other cars were of same ranging value... So thought I'd decent... But being way heavier than other cars... It's seriously underpowered...
You can't just overtake any other truck or bus without having a proper rpm under your belt...
After 2000 rpm the car pulls decently... Of course with a race car type of noise.... Like the engine is running for its life....but yeah you'll always have to be cautious while overtaking....Rest assured you can achieve the speed with a lag of course and its ride is awesome....
Con 2:- AC fan noise is too much.... It should have been a bit quieter....
We were already suffering with that 3 cylinder noise...
To suppress it always go with a good music... With its best in class music system 👍🏻
Con 3 :- Infotainment system.... The screen simply freezes while on android auto...
On a trip it froze two times....had to pull over and restart everything from beginning...
(For those who don't know) Also the android auto doesn't support every app...so don't panic.... Though it should support wink music 🙄
Con 3 :- There is no engine cover.... The engine bay looks naked...
But I think.... They are offering engine cover to every customer in the servicing....🤞
Con 4 :- The tires are low profile.... They provide you better comfort and quality I think on the highways...
But beware.... Drive slow on rough terrain.... Which is almost every road in India 😂...
Con 5 (Not Exactly) :- The service centre issue is nightmare for me.... Though I've not visited one till.... But every reviewer is talking of this with a pinch of salt.... That their experience was bitter....
Hoping I get an escape with that 🤞

Aapko thoda high position chahiye to Sonet lo, agar zaruri nahi hai koi low car chahiye to Altroz lo, par pehle achhe se test drive zarur kar lena. Warna inn bhai ke jaise complaints karoge. Aur Aahutosh bhai, ab jo le li hai uski complaints karke koi fayda nahi hai par mai aapko dhanyawad zarur karuga ki aap apne BAD experiences share kar rahe ho jis se unn logo ko help hogi jinko ye gaadi leni hai.

Tata have Built the Car like Tank and almost Double Steel is Used then that of Baleno Body. Safety and Built Quality is better then those 2-3 kmpl milage.

I have used the cars rashly and in harsh environments, It never missed a beat, never had a engine problem.
In my joint family, my younger brother have Swift and New Amaze, But they also loved my Tata Cars and is going to purchase a Harrier in new year.
Obviously, it is carrying those double steel then Baleno Chasis, so it will be heavier to accelerate, But its what people have to understand that Safety and Good Built quality have a trade-in with Engine Acceleration.
This car looks amazing looks better than i20,i10 tata has done a great job the interiors looks fine

Sedan segment is already having very low sales and very high competition from City, Verna, Ciaz and Rapid/Vento

There is competition in sedan market I agree but in that way competition was there in hatchback too but Tiago did very well and people they want something new in sedan now, remember even when Nissan had launched "sunny" it had good sale figure too so if Tata will launch the sedan there are the chances that they can benefit

The Altroz is great but with a little more work by Tata it can be an excellent car! Led projector headlamps, auto dimming IRVM, Cup holders for rear armrest and a shark fin antenna would have made the car complete on the design front.
I've seen a multiple reviews of Altroz and commenting here based on that only:
1) Petrol Engine is not as Refined compared to others and its not a good Powertrain for Enthusiasts.
2) Talking about its 1.5L Diesel, we can compare to Mr. Ciaz Diesel (Sedan vs Hatchback) which has a better figures but its BS4 so no more discussions about it. But comparatively its mileage is way more less than Mr. Ciaz though Altroz is BS6 and Ciaz is BS4 .
3) (Edit) Ford FREESTYLE is the perfect competitor for Altroz to compare most of the figures and Altroz is 90Kg heavier. But has more mileage than ford. Power and Torque both are less in Tata. So its a detune to get more mileage.
4) As you said in the video about ROAD NOISE and it has a strong body. It simply means that the Insulation should have been better.
5) @GaganChoudhary I think you forgot to mention its High Speed Stability. Well the HSS is too good in Altroz. On high speeds the car sticks to the road which gives more confidence to drive it.
I don't have more comments on Altroz as you've driven it and I'm just talking after seeing a couple of videos.

Who told you or where you learnt that it’s rival is Ciaz ? Ciaz is a sedan car & it’s rival are Honda City , Verna etc. not Altroz bcz it’s a Hatchback.

1. Engine pickup: Initially Lenient & promising after 2000+ rpm
2. Mileage: City-13 to 15 & Highways/long drive- 17.5 to 21.5 (kmpl)
3. Stability: Great/Excellent
4. Dynamics: Excellent
5. Storage: Good compared to its competitors
6. Erganomics: Good
7. Stability: Excellent & cornering is too good
8. Braking & safety: Excellent (compared to its competitors)
9. Design: Both exterior & interior are great
10: AC: Excellent cooling
11. Service(Car & Customer service): Strongly has to be improved a lot lot lot...
12. Engine noise: NVMs are good upto speed 100 kmph...
13. Music system: Excellent
Altroz is a great car to go... Petrol Engine(drivability should be like, go with the flow, gentle & lenient)... If you need a punchy engine go for Diesel one(4cyl + 1.5 ltr engine)...
The only CZcamsr who promotes INDIAN car brands in almost all his videos.

The engine is powerful. Don't know why some people are nit picking. All altroz made before Nov 2020 need to get ECU updated to get the engine performance improved.
I myself have Altroz XZ Jan 2021 and have no complaints. This is best premium hack back car in the market right now. Well done Tata.
If gagan can hardly found any negatives in altroz then its a remarkable achievement by Tata. Tata sure have come a long way from their indica days and with their safety initiative and new product line they can now compete toe to toe with their korean and japanese rivals

It's good. I'm using from 2 months... Ik getting petrol..20.5 full tank to full tank..350 single journey I did with AC.. and also ik having i20 petrol .2017..2 cars im using.... Both are good

Tire size mai difference hai, because Petrol is lighter in weight so bigger tire for more grip, whereas diesel is heavy in weight so because of added wait small tire because of added wait it will have more grip due to the pressure on the tires

Tata, our Indian company is also building stable, safe, luxury cars(I don't mean "luxury luxury" but for middle middle class). Good to see new developments. Once it was mostly Indica and nano, now. Altroz, Tiago much much better

hello gagan i am Altroz owner as owner i can its fantastic car . power delivery in 1st gear is linear its not like sudden burst dhog like feeling power like there is delay in power

but there some minor ignorable problem
like
1 . kiirrrr sound while accelerating ingear at 40-60 km speed near front left side part in engine bay
2. occasionall jerks in 2nd gear when ur below 1500 rpm

Recently I have purchased Tata Altroz and I am facing Air bag alarm issue and Gears are very tight.. Service center people not able to resolve it...Bad experience with Altroz

TC Petrol is coming soon. Let's hope that it gets more power and low Turbo Lag.
Its gonna have 100ps
Both at the same time is too difficult to make it happen. If you want more power, you have to face lag and you want lower lag then you'll lose the top-end and you'll get less power. The best option is to add sequential turbo which is not a cup of tea for any manufacturers. Hope this thing helped you a little bit.

Bro I have bs6 optional the top model . A very good car 👍 now having a very good engine. But some time interior lag but overall a very good car 👍 worth buying it .
I purchased Tata altroz on 2nd March 2020. Had a better experience. Wish we can meet and do the review of this car. Either u come to Delhi or u advise the place where I can come and meet u. Your experience and my true feedback can help many people to decide about vehicle and can guide them to what people should see before deciding.

1. Low and hastle free maintenance
2. Easy to keep for next 10 years
Confused between Altroz XE Rhythm and I10 Nios Magna (Both same price)
Also may plan to install cng 3 years down and use it for myself
Please note: I know I am comparing two different segment cars but they fall under same price range so in the end I am looking at what best can I get against the money I am spending

lol.. bcoz our people don't give importance to safety and build quality. MS reduced wait, thin material, give more milage and increase the sale. No surprise, why most of taxis belongs to MS Dzire.

Nowadays..... being an indian brand people are mad on the Tata products.....They just keep on talking about build quality and tank like cars...
TATA cars especially petrol engines phase major issues..... technical issues are there in TATA cars......so don't go blind over it.....and Tata Altroz should get the petrol engine which was available in TATA zest and Bolt....
Both Petrol engines are very different.....Soo start concidering that too..... A heavy car is not always safe.... Don't be blind at Tata products.....
In global ncap the basic varients are tested....where in ALTROZ , Tigor and NEXON (even in MARRAZZO and XUV 300)....top most varients are tested....you can see its test videos.....soo Please...
I'm not saying Tata products are not good.....they are really nice things...but it has its own issues and problems....

Aweosme...Gagan bro always make keen analysis of each n every features and defects in his video...which is generally not done by many other youtubers...instead of it they more show there reckless driving skills and useless skiddings which is no sense at all in there videos.

In the video, there is a mention of lag. The car does not react if accelerator pedal is pressed and released very quickly within half a second.
Is there any comparison with other cars available?
How does a Baleno or i20 react when you pressed accelerator pedal and immediately released like you did in Altroz?
I20 and baleno both are same
I have i 10 sportz it reacts with quick acceleration if i press it for 1 sec.
Hi Gagan, I watch every car Vlog of yours. I have some questions which i request you to answer for me please!!!!!!! To understand my mentality, I just want looks, interior of car, and litttttttle bit of better mileage like 14 or 15ish. As we all know its India, so I do not think we should be caring about power too much, there not much margin for us to show the power except the occasions we are travelling out of city which is a rare thing. And India sedans can give a good power indeed. There is not much discussion about that. So questions are-
1. Is Kia K5 coming to India? If yes, then when?
2. Is Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Elantra (both new models) coming to India? If yes, then when?
3. Is Nissan Magnite coming to India? If yes, then when?
4. How much is Honda civic 2020 petrol mileage recorded by a User and not what company claims to be?
5. I know it would be too early to comment now on anything but will Tata harrier petrol (upcoming) worth buy?
6. Is Indian government slashing the Diesel cars RC by 5 years i.e. validity only for 10 years?
Please answer these for me. I do not want to invest this large amount of money in a wrong place. I would be grateful to get a reply for this.

In villiages there's no more than Tata and Tata you can even get spares for Tata in the smallest of any garage
**Can you tell me...If the spare tyre is smaller in size than the actual tyre how can you use it?**

It has gear shifting problems, gear plate shivering problems/ engine vibrations and engine sounds/ noices etc are more in comparison to other same ranges car.
Please, make service center available in every small towns also make spare parts available in that centers.
