    Tiago JTP was such an amazing car. 0-100 in under ten seconds. But no one bought it and Tata had to discontinue it.

      Even Baleno RS was a good car and capable of doing 0 to 100 in 9.2 sec but no one bought it so MS discontinued it. Same with Fronx turbo. And cars like this Racer Altroz doesn't even make sense because NA Baleno will be able to do 0 to 100 better.

    25:18 I don't know what but driving on these type of patches (with this camera angle) and narrating of a car feels so satisfying.

    Most car reviewers primary focus is on pointing out fit and finish issues of tata but the same group of so called car journos close their eyes for Korean cars even tho those cars have considerable fit and finish issues

      Because fit and finishing issues are still valid in Tata cars? Rusting issues, ill fitted and misaligned panels, poor paint, vibrations and rattles etc. There are still a number of new tata owners that complain about this.
      See the fit and finishing of decade old hyundai cars on the road like first gen i20 first gen i10 or santro. You'll understand why the Koreans are never doubted on this aspect

    3:30 Iturbo+ name suits this car well and it not an overkill. Unlike the pretentious Racer theme with the lack of rear disks, lack of DCT and 0-100 timing of 11.3 seconds. 22:25
    2:38 7:55 12:49 15:34 saw another review of an Altroz Racer with misaligned rear quarter panel. Tata really needs to focus on there quality control, there image is worsening in this regard

    hello sir, the drl off thing is not a problem its a feature if i understood it correctly. It enables you to turn off your drls if you wish to, by simply switching the headlamp from off to on and then off.

    The car has not come out as expected but this car is made for indian roads not for race track it is made to make the car more premium and this car is better than i20 n if you see overall in comfort safety and adequete power

    Overall a good review. How a car drives depends more on the driver than the car specification. Of course any car can't pass it physical limitation but a good driver can really use car's and his abilities to get a brilliant and fun drive everytime.

    Gagan ji, This lock /unlock button was added after inception of BS6 phase 2 last year as it is also there in my Altroz iTurbo BS6 phase 2.
    BTW you haven't made any video on iTurbo, may be due to laggy and noisy initial versions.
    After BS6 phase 2, vibration was negligible, less engine noise and good improvement in pickup at least in my iTurbo.

    May be even a lakhs or two would have justified the price if it was actually a racer doing 0-100 around 8-9 secs. for Indian condition. Also since on India road you need to constantly brake , few more torque could a blessing by TATA. Overall. all the reviews on the racer implicates that TATA tried to play safe. The name racer is only for marketing. This car is basically premium car who have enough money to spend on a hatchback.

    8:00 it's a feature in tata cars to turn off drl. It's not an issue. It's given in the owner's manual. We have that feature in the altroz diesel 2023 model

    The trick with all tata car clutches (ever since Indica V2) is to release the clutch till just the bite point and add slight throttle. You can't just dump the clutch and full throttle with Tata cars. That slight revs that increase when you let go off the clutch is really useful in day to day driving. Especially for hill start. It's more of a practical feature. Not many people notice it or get accustomed to it. Only the owners do.
    Agree with the point that it's more of a iturbo+ rather than a racer. Just hope tata clears up all issues before customer deliveries begin. Frankly they really need to ditch the 3 cylinder engines or make them smoother like the Ford 1.5s were.

    7:50 Sir voh DRL ka option hota hai off karne ka problem nhi hai. Nexon punch has it to turn off DRL. Headlights turn on turn off 2-3 times.

Value for money or not, Tata is a reputable brand and even if their cars lack refinement and panache still it is a valued Indian brand and can make good quality cars only if their target market is willing to spend more on cars. And in this price range and segment you get Altroz dirt racer only.

    That dashboard panel gap is in every altroz and looks weird in beige contrast dashboard.
    The central locking button was placed in center behind gear lever housing.

    Nobody appreciate that Tata is giving and dare to give premium features like ventilated seats and 360 degree camera with safety feature like 6 airbag in a hatchback.. They are not offered even on some mid size SUV. Bas sirf kamiya dikhane k liye video bana diya bcoz Tata dont do paid videos. Paisa mila hota to abhi tarifo k pul baandh dete ye log

    tata need to invest more in their ICE dept.They have to upgrade their engine with new tech. still using these old skool engine doesnt make hot hatch.if they cant make good engines tata can buy engines from hyundai,vw,suzuki etc.

    Sir 18.24 pe apne kaha hai ki NVH jaada , but jo video mein laag raha hai vo ye hai kii road noise jaada aa rahi hai and this is because of the MRF tyres installed on the particular car you were driving, I am also facing same issue in Altroz because of MRF tyres

    Tata should find a way of reducing the weight of the car without compromising with the safety. They should make engines in collaboration with skoda and VW

    07:55 , that switches off LED DRLs in my Nexon. Same feature maybe in punch but not in altroz.

    Aap jo bol rahe ho punch mein headlight ON/OFF Ka issue, woh problem nhi hai , feature hai Drl on off krne ka 2 bar aise on off karoge to drl off ho jaata and tabhi woh sign bandh ho jata hain, woh drl status symbol hai.. car review kr rhe ho itna toh pata hona chahiye

    N line is a better product. 27k more over R3. It's a way better product. Engine , Quality, fitment are all better than this. I was holding on my purchase until this launches, now I can peacefully buy i20 n line.
