- We have had the Havaseas, our Nordhavn 55, for just over a year and a half. We explored Canada over the winter and spring. We are now headed back up to Alaska after returning from a visit to see my Aunt who passed away during the visit. Eric explains how he anchors the Havaseas. We check out the Codville Lagoon and Clothes Bay anchorages. These are our adventures, how we live and where we go.

Thanks for sharing the views on the ocean the sounds of the engine the water the wind the entire experience of boating. I really enjoy it. I would love to be doing what you guys are doing but cannot, so it is wonderful to live vicariously through you guys.

Thank you!
That rainbow was spectacular! Views like that daily make me dream of doing this full time some day. Peace!
That is why we ended up just moving onto the boat. Seems like the best place to be.
I was on the boat that picked up a rock on are anchor a couple days ago I thought it was you guys I was the one cleaning all the fish while they were doing the anchor
At least you had fish to clean! That was a big rock! We were glad to see that you got it off the anchor. We were hoping you might turn into Swanson Harbor. How long are you in S.E.?

Nevermore! 😂🤣 Hopefully he did not leave any presents... 😂👍 That was pretty cool raven! 👍👍
It was like he was looking in the window and wanting to come inside. Felt special.
@@havaseas 👍👍
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Thank you!
Is your bridle serving the same purpose as a chain snubber? I’m curious as to why it’s only tied off to the life line/rail vice a deck cleat if it’s taking the shock load from the chain.
Yes, it is takes tension off the chain. Oops, we didn't show the final part where Eric ties it off to the forward cleats.
@@havaseas I knew it, You are cheating us...😉😊
@@havaseas thanks!
@@havaseas Oh good...I was concerned for the railing.
Lot of Sasquatch sightings along Klemtu... Did you hear anything?
No we didn't.... and we went to a place that was reported to have sightings. I think the next episode will have a bit on that...
Awesome video just a shame about the music which really distracts
I am sorry that you don't like the music. I try to keep the volume down. I will keep this in mind.
