Designing a home office can be challenging. Especially in a small space, and on a limited budget. So this is part one of a multi part series where we are going to makeover my home office on a budget. My real goal is to spend zero dollars, but I know that's not realistic. So we are going as cheap as possible while still having high design. Let's create together!

The wallpaper could not be more perfect. I wasn't convinced about painting the subfloor but must say it looks very nice. The room is going to be so pretty once you have completed it.

You did a great job of the wallpaper. I built my own desk this year out of a long, new, unused laminate kitchen benchtop and some modern legs from Amazon and popped a keyboard tray underneath from an old desk, changed out the runners on it and put a shelf to hold the power board and one for the modem underneath too so they weren’t visible. It’s lovely. Hope you have as much fun making yours as I did mine. It cost about $160 for screws and legs and a little paint but the top was $330 when bought years ago. ❤

Painting the sub floor, okay... Honestly im one who thinks if it cant be fixed, cant be done right away, cover it with paint or something! A+ job!

Here's a wallpaper trick I just recently learned. To save on wastage, open and work from two rolls at the same time. Less repetitive pattern wastage. For the next time, you're welcome. 😂

Depends on the room! Honestly for most rooms I just use flat white ceiling paint because it hides imperfections best. The only time I really use a color is if I want it to match the walls ☺️
