I just wanted to add that to use the blending prisma color pencil you need to have it pre blended (like shaded into each other lightly) if you do that and then use the blending pencil after it works really well!
(I just wanted to add this just in general for people thinking the blending pencils is horrible :D)

Ive only been using printer paper for over a year since i started drawing again. I have sketchbooks now since it was my birthday in june but i still use printer paper since i have TONS of it. IVE BEEN USING THE SAME PACK OF PRINTER PAPER FREQUENTLY FOR OVER A YEAR AND PLUS I USE IT FOR PRINTING

I like a lot of art supplies to be honest. Except those paintbrushes, thin, weak mechanical pencils and a Panduro brush pen (although their coloured pencils are awesome) and a crappy white gel pen.
I love Ecoline brush and coloured pencils (like Panduro, wich is cheap, and like Caran d'Ache, or how you write it).

The point of Tempra Paint has a very simple answer. Elementary School. It’s cheap. Comes in a half decent colour palette. You can buy it by the gallons. It’s washable. I remember going into the art closet at my elementary school and wall to wall was Tempra Paint!

I HATE tempura paint. We used it for a project, and the white paint came out pink on dark blue. The opacity was terrible, and even mixing it with other colors became a struggle because the different in pigmentation between the different colours made it difficult to mix.
It sucks so much •_• I’m in middle school and we use it in my gifted class to paint backdrops and props for our projects, it works for some things but it’s really not opaque and only useful it we are painting on white paper :/

I hated cra-z-art as a kid, too... they just felt so cheap. Like prismacolor vs crayola, crayola was prismacolor and cra-z-art was crayola. Decent coverage, but... lame in comparison. (This is based on what most people say of prismacolor. My experiences with prismacolor are that it is maybe 2% better than crayola, while most say it's like, 90% better or something. I just don't get it. Smoother colors, more vibrant, but blending? HA. White on top of other colors? HA. *NOPE* )

I cant tell you how many times I've been gifted these brushes, and absolutely HATED them.
They're not precise, the paint comes right off them and you have to keep caking the paint on the brush, and the brush is so damn flimsy and bad!

The colorless blender is for blending colors out when you want them to be more transparent, Rae. Also good for softening hard lines without erasing, adding extra wax onto the top of the pencil layers you have to 'fix' them, pre-prepping the tooth for a more easily blended color, burnishing the wax, and prepping colors for solvent blending(the pigmentless wax picks up the pigment beneath it and helps move it around a little better.) Try laying down a color and the colorless blender in alternating layers, and then try to blend the pigment out into a gradient to white. I use alcohol, and I can get some _really_ good blending distance with Prismacolors using the colorless blender.

(we had to paint on a can lol) i put loads of coats of the paint and still, no pigment and it wasn’t opaque. it was so bad i didn’t know what to do. i put a clump of it on my can and then i let it dry. when i went back to it it dried and was opaque! then literally 3 seconds later the whole clump fell of and the rest started flaking. i got a D on my art project. i blame it on the tempera paints lmao.

Ugh. That's what my art class gives us. The black is so transparent, you need 3 coats just for it to be somewhat acceptable.

In art foundations class at high school(or at least my high school), they made us use tempra paint. However, in painting class they use acrylic.
In my art class we have to make the banners for the plays. Instead of using acrylic, we always used tempera because it was *soooooo* cheap
