This remarkable program totally dedicated to Vangelis was recorded and broadcast in 1992 by the French television station France 2. It was later broadcast by the more internationally operating TV5. Bonsoir un génie avec les synth ,les claviers,les samplers. Même avec la percussion et producteur, aujourd'hui tout est fait avec des claviers maître, ordinateur et des daws,des instruments virtuels.

Nice keyboards, the Emulator II, T3, K2000, and not sure if that's a T1 or 01/W ProX. Most likely the T1 is the main weighted master keyboard. Great musical instruments, great sounds, great player. I wish there were a DVD of this.
And the Korg Symphony! It was Vangelis' secret weapon as the choirs were far superior than the ones included in the M1, however when the T series was released they included the choir PCM form the Symphony module also known as the 03
Vangelis loved the touchdown of the T1. It's a keyboard he loved until the end
@@MrGiloine The T1 is a great instrument. It's close to impossible to fine one in nice condition. They ones that come up on Ebay are usually rather run down heavily.

Frank Zappa used to say that his job was to decorate time with music. Vangelis did that, but took it further; he manipulated time with music. The opening piece of music in the movie Interstellar is a perfect example of manipulating time with music.

Vangelis est adorable ! Eve Rudgerri se sert de lui pour faire des démos de synthés digitaux. On voit que le Maestro s'exécute sans broncher et on voit qu'il se force à répondre aux questions niaises posées par Eve. De toute manière, sa meilleure période fut avec les synthés analogiques durant les années 70 et 80.
90s was also great as were the last years where he wrote some freat pieces for that were in youtube.

On a jamais vu Jarre faire de telles improvisations et on en verra jamais , ce n est pas le même niveau technique, il y a un fossé énorme entre les deux , Jarre est surtout un passionné des synthétiseurs mais ne sait pas s en servir comme Vangelis

Très très dommage que cette émission n'ait pas été diffusée dans son intégralité.
Des passages intéressants de dialogue entre la journaliste et Vangelis ont été occultés, c'est-à-dire supprimés.
Et pourtant, ce que disait Vangelis par rapport à la musique, à SA musique et à son rapport à sa propre philosophie de façon générale, et en lien avec la musique, par rapport à son identité de musicien autodidacte, étaient très intéressants.
Si bien que cette mise en ligne ne vaut pas un clou.
C'est déplorable et pathétique.
Il faudrait même restaurer ce chef-d’œuvre.
