Good Morning Guys! In this video you will see how i spent my first few days in Kinshasa. It was pretty normal, trying to understand the city, as if you are new here you have to be bit careful. And later i met some Congolese friends who shared their views about Indians living in Congo. I hope you guys enjoy the video. 🇨🇩❤️

Majority of African students studying in India are Congolese. In Bangalore i was around 2000 congolese in one specific area, and also sudanese, ivory coast and tanzanians too. But from Nigeria most comes for business. Many face Racism in India, issues with house owners and locals. so they get news back in their country about racism in india so many are angry.
Very true Indians are treating our African sisters and brothers bad and racist so people hear these things and people will do same ... because you find some has sisters who has been abused by Indians and they do revenge
Most of the drug pedlers in Bangalore, Mangalore are/were Nigerians. They had lot of issues with local population because of their bad attitude and lifestyles. They will supply drugs, late night parties, sexual exploitation and noise pollution during their parties. Therfore, the locals stopped giving apartments for rent
@@vivekupadhyaya6452 i see, yes some do that, even some countries, but overa ind***ns are worse than average racist, someind***ns k**ll blacks in Durban south africa, and mistreat africans and soon , they will sent back to india, deportatio of ind***ns from africa is around the corner
@@vivekupadhyaya6452 as if it makes any difference the average indian cant tell a congolese from a nigerian and so they treat them the same, its ironic you use that example what if indians are involved in tax evasion in congo should congolese ban all indians from owning assets in congo??
And not only did they face racism in India, they also faced racism in their country by Indians
This is some ground reality I have never heard.... Thanks Garima to let us know the facts as well along with vlogs and entertaining contents.
Congratulations my sister for this video that clears up some misunderstandings between us and the Indians. Good luck
Watching every video of yours has become an important part of life, as soon as your video comes, a light smile comes on the face, so thank you very much. take care of your health too. Lots of love from Gujarat.❤❤❤

As a person of indian descent, I grew up in local African neighborhood in Tanzania and I agree with what Jonas was saying. Most indians lived in affluent indian neighborhood at that time and they would be scared to come to our neighborhood even though it was not that dangerous. It was just generalization that entire neighborhood was full of crime just because few people got mugged. My family was perfectly safe even though we had one instance of robbers trying to steal from our shop. All of our African neighbors were friendly and supportive even though we were minority,
Tanzania is one of the best places in Africa to work. Local People are friendly. Especially Dar Es Salaam nice place.

That's a good content my sister.
Indians needs to learn more about Africa in order to foster our relationship.
I'm from S Sudan but been living in India since 2015, I got my degree from Bangalore University and currently finalizing my Masters from Amity University Noida.
I'm so familiar with Indian's beautiful culture and its cities from South to North, I stayed in Bangalore for 5 yrs, been to Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Mysore, Mumbai, Kochi, Chandigarh and now in Noida(Delhi NCR). As a foreigner(especially African) here in India, life isn't that easy at all and that doesn't mean all Indians are bad but majority are still holding that stereotypical views about Africa including your police enforcement.
Keep up with your good work dear lady, you're an asset not solely to Indians but to the world community.
I am very sorry for any problems caused to you by my country please stay safe and some day come to Kolkata,India and be my guest I will be more than happy to show you my city🥰❤

Hope you're happy here!

The reason you're in awe is because Indian elders are not used to seeing the young generation lead independent lives. Indian parents should stop controlling their kids once they reach adulthood and just let them figure things out for themselves (including allowing them to make their own decisions) even if those decisions are wrong from your point of view. This will make indian kids to deal with everyday stuff in a more mature way. If you keep your kids always under your radar, then you're only hindering their psychological progress.

You are so brave, girl! You explored the lifestyle of DRC. Most people there don't like Indians, but there are good people who can guide and help you, like Jonas. But seeing Kinshasa in your video brought back memories. Thanks for this lovely video blog! Kitoko Makasi.
That liar if you treat people with respect, why are you complaining. In your country how Congolese you killed? So what
Explain how people don’t like Indians, I’m intrigued because I’m Congolese and Portuguese myself grew up in Kinshasa my aunty in Congo is Indian and her whole family actually migrated there from the 70s. I personally never saw anyone hating on her or her family. Infact we speak regularly and my mum who lives in London took two of her kids.
@@Verticalpt There are no Indians living in the DRC, there are only about 3000 for jobs
@@dezerik3970 your lost and ignorant but it’s fine we live in a world where people act or claim to know more than they actually do. Do you know that a large number of Indians/Pakistanis migrated to African countries such as Kenya, Congo and others? Africa/congo is so diverse, maybe you should visit and see the Indian communities living there.
@@dezerik3970 and your so off topic, talk about the jobs in your country, imbecile acting like India is Dubai or the Uk or something. Do you see the videos on CZcams and everywhere else of the state of the food alone🤮🤮

U know I have travelled many countries but still say Cape Town is the best city in the world. The people of India who havent travelled thinks Africa is just bush with animals and humans walking around.I got very upset one day when a guy in India told me u guys live in the bush.also a Muslim guy working in a restaurant treated me badly because I was feeding stray dogs.India us not perfect and not safe just like any country.

I'm not even Muslim and I know this. Tell the guy that the next time he tries lecturing you about feeding stray animals.
Though I have to say as a good warning, that you should feed stray animals away from your workplace. Otherwise the stray dogs will come back to the restaurant expecting more food again and that is probably the reason why the guy was upset.

At least based on my personal experience of Indians in Congo, I can tell you they don't treat locals well. Almost all of them are entry level and husling type Indian business people who look to squeeze every tiny dollar as possible. No wonder Congolese hate them. But this should't be considered a stereotypical India. Indians In India and in most parts of the world are quite different and well respected.
