What I love is we got a 12 point deduction for doing exactly what Bologna is doing. He's worth €30m. Two good games doesn't raise it to €50m
Arsenal will not pay more than 37 million euro for Calafiori. On the other hand, if he wants to play abroad, then F him and let's move on. Other players in the region of 35 million are better than Calafiori. As I have already stated, we should keep Hujsen and promote him as a starter. Let's save money and invest it in a top goal scorer and prolific wingers.
Huijsen wasn't even good enough as a starter for Roma. Was error-prone in defense.

@@jerrybnasty5115 Huijsen is more ball-playing than a stopper/marker. His potential is what's impressive, but currently, he's ready to start at a midtable club at best.

On Koop vs Calafiori - I think the success of this move depends on what the coach needs most, which can only be evaluated at the end of the marcato (we do not want to miss out on two primary targets). However, I think Koop is more difficult to replace than Calafiori, especially at this price point. You will struggle to get a world class attacking mid for 50m, but you can get a good CB to complement Bremer for 25 - 30m.

Italian players haven't done that well in the EPL in recent years
For me Calafiori had to be the priority over Koop, our midfield was already shaping up without him and we could've gone for Samardzic instead for a lot less money. If he really is gone, I feel like we're going to regret this one. Absolutely gotta keep hold of Huijsen now and hope he develops into the real deal, even if it's not a super long term solution, we can't still sell him and go for a mediocre option like Kiwior- just eugh.

I really wanted Calafiori but the priority for me is always strengthening the midfield and I see Koop as more a guarantee as he’s been solid for years. Thuram is high potential but I don’t think he will start. So Koop is very important for me.
I also believe Djalo suits Motta perfectly and could be the guy
@@AllJuveCast Its not the end of the world of course, and adding Koop to that midfield makes it really strong- theres a solid argument for it. I just feel like we are potentially missing out on a real Italian talent which is pretty rare these days.

Love Califiore but Bologna can’t be blamed for getting double what we can give especially since they need to compete in the CL and the extra money buys more.
I haven’t really been on board with any signings or rumors especially given it shows only 1 Italian field player starting. Di Gregorio is a good signing but I’m more so happy with that signing since it’s the last name of 2 of my best friends who are Napoli supporters who were hoping he’d go there so they can buy his jersey lol.

well if Juventus offers 30mil no blame to Bologna, he definitely coasts more than 30, I believe it’s mistake not to bringing him in, somewhere between 40-50 mil would be a fair deal, but we have to move on, with that money we can buy two good fullbacks for example

We absolutely should blame Bologna. We had a verbal agreement with the club going into the euro. When we tried to lock it down they jacked the price up suddenly. If juve did that we’d be banned from playing in Europe. The only consolation is his injury record.
Nothing was signed though, if it was at 30M and Juve didn’t pull the trigger then I still can’t blame Bologna. If the shoe was on the other foot and it was one of our players, I will always want Juve to maximize their sales. What other clubs would think of us is their issue not ours… we will never be perceived in a positive light anyways so, nothing new haha

Another solid point
Look at the positives and not the negatives. The armchair fans don't realise this ain't Fifa 24 and it will need 2-4 sessions to complete the puzzle. We have a limited budget that is dependent on sales first and clever deals/add ons. Giuntoli has focused on the priority issue which is the midfield above and beyond. Luiz, Thuram and maybe Koopmeiners is the change we have been begging to see for years. When has any club got all their targets unless their names are Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. This arrogance from Juve fans to demand Cala is a joke. Business is business and they're not making a lump sum with Zirkzee, Cala and even Ndoye could be for sale. They need money to invest in their CL debut and to become the new Atalanta. I will not lose any sleep over Cala. We got Djaló a forgotten man and have Huijsen. If people really wanted Cala we should have sacrificed Bremer. I am always my country above club first and foremost. I like the guy but the highest asset would have brought in the most liquidity immediately like a De Ligt scenario. You could have then gone in for both Cala and Buongiorno. Rebuilding with the two most promising Italians under one roof for both club and country. Buongiorno cannot move to Napoli until they sell Osimhen. As for Koop, avoid Atalanta and all Italian clubs. Look at how easy it is to do business with Nice and Villa. Never be penned in and shop around. Finally invest in the Italians already here like Barbieri. All this potential Yan Couto talks will do nothing to improve Italy. Each Serie A club has to be mandated to have 5-6 Italians in the squad, preferably playing as well.

I feel the exact same way brother. Except for sacrificing Bremer. He needed to stay but for me the priority that was highest was always the midfield. Thuram I don’t see starting immediately either so I definitely want Koop.
At the back I have been saying for a while I believe Djalo will be perfect for Motta.

@@AllJuveCast I say give up on koop atalanta or ridiculous at getting people to over pay for there players gosen 27mil,kulusevski 39mil,Andre conti 24mil,galiardini 20mil not saying they don't do well else where as bastoni kessie,mancini and Ibanez showed but 60mil a big investment for someone who be only as good as the system he's in
I still go for him because the price isn’t the best but… there’s no other mids in that tier for us on the list. His importance to us is big and he wants to come and has terms. He’s top three mid in the league and for me the drop off is big if we miss and I’m not too worried about systems with him because he’s occupied all the roles in the midfield with Atalanta and done well so I think he will do just fine.
