- What an amazing experience to have both our Z06’s delivered at the National Corvette Museum. It was an overall experience I can’t recommend highly enough. If you’re getting a new corvette….. NCM delivery is a must have option. You will not be disappointed.

Literally had a smile on my face. Watching the video. Happy for you my man don't know who you are enjoying that car. I'm 44 years old fixing to turn 45 and have loved the Corvette since I was a kid always told myself I was gonna own one, but here I am now.

I may get/construe what you're saying about driving my already delivered vehicle to the factory, but I'm not going to do that. I just simply preferred to have picked up my vehicle, seen't it for the first time at the museum.

Both cars look amazing. I like my 2022 Red Mist HTC and think I’d go with the Black ZO6. I’m currently #1 at my local dealership for an allocation towards a ZO6 and also #1 for the ZR1 should dealerships be able to start taking orders on the ZR1s.

Getting in is a process, I noticed how he scuffed the door sill. At age 69, I need the door open as far as it will go. Then get in. I’m also afraid that over time the side bolster of the door will get worn from getting in and out.
Getting in AND out is a process LOL! It’s not as easy as it seems until you have to do it…. With practice I’ve gotten better at it but I still have to be VERY careful not to scuff door or press against bolster. I guess Chevy succeeded in making a super car after all 🤣

Beautiful cars guy's and congrats! I didn't think Highway driving was good for a new engine or do they break these engines in pre delivery?
You have to avoid cruise control and vary your speed and throttle through highway driving for first 500 miles. No WOT pulls either.
They actually do a 20 minute engine dyno “break in” after the motor is built at NG assembly plant.

Check mine out, 3LZ/Z07 Supposedly it was the first stealth wrapped Corvettes to ever be delivered at the museum. Needless to say people were freaking out.

I’m sure if you bought at most dealers they are still marking them way up. We ordered through Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, MD and they guarantee MSRP for your order. We waited for them but only paid MSRP. That’s specifically why we went with Criswell. Their team was incredible through the whole process as well.

Order officially placed early August and delivery was October 30th at the Museum. Car was built 10/9. If you go C8 you will not regret it. The car is AMAZING!

What you see is how it came from GM….. both sizes come with the car. The Museum out the bigger ones on for delivery and the smaller ones are in trunk.

awesome looking car !! what was the price and how long did you have to wait ? my father in law lives in Woodstock,GA and were moving there in about 2 years and im getting one myself as soon as we move there thats why im asking how long you waited. where in Georgia are you ?
The weight time for Z06 was actually about 18 months. Ordered through Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, MD and they charged MSRP. Not one penny over! Great group of folks there. My salesman was Anthony Vattuone if you’re interested in using them I HIGHLY recommend using Anthony!
We live halfway between Atlanta and Athens and when you move and get your Vette we need to cruise the ATL!

@@Charles-nk3ep MSRP for the car was $105,300. Only options were red calipers, edge red Z06 badges, and Museum Delivery.
With taxes, title, and all the charges…. It was $124,512 out the door.

We are picking up my friends Z06 Saturday at NCM and driving back to the metro Atlanta area. Did you drive it on the highway the whole way back to GA or take backroads the whole way home? Our concern is the break in for the motor. I believe they want you to take it through the rpm range (1500-5000ish) and some stop and go traffic (not Atlanta gridlock) for the first 500 miles and if you went highway the whole way back you wouldn’t be able to really do that. Just curious
We did a mix of Highway and back roads….. followed the instructions as directed. Was easy enough on Highway to vary speeds as well. You will LOVE THE NCM experience! Truly AMAZING ALL around! I hope you get Dean as your delivery person. He was the best. Lunch at the grill was freaking great as well! Don’t miss lunch there!

@@BrianThompson-st5me sure do! They paused them for a while because of ZR1 stuff I believe but I think they are back on now. That was also a very cool tour. You’ll enjoy the whole thing! They will have your buddy’s name on the sign over the plant door that day as well so when you go in it’s a big thanks for each of the owners from the plant workers as you go in.

Time……. We had to have both cars done before 5 PM in order to drive them back to Georgia. If we had an extra day we would have certainly done so.
Auto Armor will even pick your car up prior to delivery and take it back to museum already PPF but Brandon decided last minute to do his.

What kind of lifts are they
At the Auto Armor shop. Those are the hydraulic quick jacks. VERY nice if you can’t do a two or four post lift. Much more affordable as well!

Comfortable road trip cars ?
Actually…. Yes
In touring mode the car is surprisingly quiet and very comfortable.
I even got 20 MPG on the ride home
Yes! I was surprised how comfortable I was in the passenger seat! I even fell asleep a few times.

I just checked on corvette forum seems u can order them from chevy for 995 according to most people. I actually did the measurement and there 1 inch lower. it makes a big difference @@dbmracing2019
@@dbmracing2019 yea we all make mistakes this is a very minor one dont loose sleep i made a few mistakes on my order, like not getting the carbon fibre exposed roof, its lighter looks nicer and gives the car more of a sharp look. But i paid the money ordered it and now im Happy. My freid said oh i wish i could order my own car i told him yea no you dont because your always gona second guess everything lol.
