Shit is way too expensive nowadays, and none of the jobs pay no where near close enough to live off of. At least that's how it is where I live anyways.
@Phantom_Fox90 the college i go to has free pads and tampons available in all restrooms for free, which they restock daily. They just have a sign reminding people to only take them in emergency situations to leave some for others, and it gets respected. I'm always able to find pads whenever I go to a restroom

Yes, but periods shouldn't be something we need to hide away. It's treated as a dirty secret, and wanting to hide period products usually comes from internalized shame. Having periods should be normalized, because it's normal

In some countries where pads are quite expensive for locals, you can buy it individually. I experienced this in Uzbekistan while travelling. I had to go in multiple shops to finally find one place where I bought it the same price as it will cost in Europe. A lot of women in the world, can't really use thoses as we do. They use coton, they stay at home during this time. An uneasy situation...
