But after checking, in the old fake video they claimed putting a cut can around the antenna boosts WiFi all around, which is untrue. It only focuses in one direction like I mention in both videos. So... GOOD! I think I'm saying the same thing!
As a networking expert, I tried to explain many times to people why WiFi is always worse than cables. But you did a way better job than me even tho you're an electrical engineer haha

The cable is what grounds him to the wire, probably not the right term, but the cable that catches him as he falls is also what keeps him safe from the electricity
No the lanyard is connected to his harness and the wire in case he falls and he doesn't need to be grounded as they are the same amount of electricity as explained in the video

Mehdi does it very well and even if I'm watching an old video of his I usually watch the ad parts too. Mehdi deserves it!

That was definitely the biggest sign this was fake. I work in home repair, I KNOW how much water loves to use even the smallest crack to go everywhere but where you intend.

20+ years ago we sometimes attached Pringles canisters to each TV antenna to help get better signal. Worked most of the time.
