Man killed in officer-involved shooting allegedly robbed Carencro man at gunpoint days prior

A man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Lafayette parish Wednesday night. According to the sheriff's office, deputies were attempting to arrest Tony Pollard for violent crimes, including an armed robbery on the Fourth of July.
