Station 41 was first on scene and found a three-story apartment building with smoke and fire showing. Interior fire attack and the wagon battery were initiated to attack the fire. Truck 27 personnel went to the roof for ventilation. It took 56 firefighters just over 40 minutes to extinguish the fire. Two patients were treated for smoke inhalation. The cause is under investigation.
