You know how they try to voice Darth Vader. I could imagine the actual guy couldn't voice his karn so he possibly found some one big with a deep voice like chocolate rain or something.
I really wanted the box to "Meow" when it hit the floor.

You missed a golden opportunity to have the box actually squeal once the professor threw it, just for the full Schrödinger effect ;)
I was expecting it.
I was expecting it to and for the Professor to casual shrug it off....and then at the end open the box outta curiosity....to then have a Phyrexian Kitten attack him xD

Honestly, despite the obvious comedic intent, this is a brilliant story. The professor bringing up Karn's established pacifist nature as an inherent hindrance in his plan to destroy New Phyrexia is a brilliant idea, one that WotC should integrate into the canon story.

Karn has existed for over a thousand years. Karn was a pacifist for about 10 of them, in the years leading up to the phyrexian invasion. That was over 350 years ago in story. It’s really not an important part of karns character
DamienE11 It's really bizarre to me to point at character development, a fundamental reason people get invested in characters and their stories to begin with, and call it unimportant to their character.
Karen also realizes that unless he fought more would die. He’s acting on the trolly dilemma. One plane for thousands. Hundreds of lives for billions.
This guy was lumbering around GP Vegas and had a throng of onlookers wherever he went. Definitely one of the coolest cosplays I've ever seen.
It was nice to see his Karn-cern for the hypothetical kitten.

We all know the kitten was Ajani. He planeswalked out as soon as the meat sack went for the box.

Karn renounced his pacifism during the Phyrexian Invasion in cannon so that's not really an issue anymore.

This completely unrelated to the video but I would like to thank the prof for making me get back into magic and the mtg community itself! Went to m19 prerelease after not going to any event,or playing for that matter , since 2012 , when i was 12 years old.
Had a blast and even had this one guy tell me to show up next saturday to play commander with them , they would even lend me a deck. The community is so god damn friendly. I love it, good to be back :) .

Wait till the third set of RTRTR, where the Bolas story finishes. That will probably be the best time for an office hours. Of course, Bolas listens to no one, so it might he difficult to set up, but we’ll see
