    I can tell that the Ruby reaction left a huge mark on you with your Good Dog comment :)

    One of my favorite Aesop tracks because it's just straight bars, no hook. Love it. Another one where he goes in like this is Hot Dogs. Highly recommend. It also has a video

    That’s what I like about ace. He calls out all his own flaws while throwing shots at the whole rap game that goes over heads and that is a flex that goes unnoticed. You have to look at some of his songs as a whole

    I thought this might be relevant. According to Aes:
    "Here is something new - KLUTZ.
    Occasionally song structure eludes me and it feels good. No problem-solving or pesky hit chorus, just rambling. Klutz is such a moment. I had started a couple things to this beat before sacrificing it to the gods of not-shutting-up, but this seemed a fitting fate. I hope you enjoy it.
    My longtime video collaborator, Rob Shaw, helped visualize my long-windedness, and I’m excited to have Steve Espo Powers gracing the artwork for the release.”
    So basically… it’s Barz that wouldn’t fit anywhere else all mashed together. And yet it’s still amazing

    I think this is the first time I've actually seen the dude didn't know what he looks like up till now

    Check out his track “Rogue Wave” if you haven’t already. It’s similar to this in that it’s a long rant, single verse no chorus track.

    Yea he's pretty self aware: ''I'm kind of a big deal, I'm kind of a piece of sht''. (Strange Hours)
    Gopher Guts is a good self awareness track. Paraphrasing what he said about that song: I'm just throwing a tantrum, but deep down I know I'm the asshole.

    Ooh no, he's got flex bars. They're just rare enough to make 'em hit hard, and sometimes just playful anyway;
    "Telephone [number] uncovered by purveyors of the Ouija then checked against the CBGB women's room graffiti" as far as I can tell the second half of that is him (likely not seriously) saying girls do that thing you see in men's restrooms in high schools where you write somebody's phone number under "call for a good time", which is usually done as a cruel joke but in this case it's reasonable to assume he's actually implying they're doing it sincerely, like he's saying he's a s3x god and women pass him around like the holy d!ldo. CBGB's is a music club, if his phone number is written in women's room bathrooms, either he's doing it himself to be a troll or he's being passed around like a prized horse
    Then there's stuff like [I don't think you've heard this song yet, spoilers..? is that a thing here...?:] "Your petty soldiers stand fragile like Giacometti sculptures embedded in eremitic cultures, we's rocksteady vultures plus I'sa geyser throwin' a soul, my wingspan stands flags in the snow of the poles"
    It just hits harder when you do it less often (generally speaking)
