What if Civilizations formed in a Parasite Apocalypse inside Minecraft? Well in this Minecraft 100 Player Civilizations video, four teams are split up into four different islands with each of their own advantages and disadvantages. Also to add to the chaos that is already bound to unfold, Parasites were released into this Minecraft world, making it much more dangerous. Will these 100 players be able to create Civilizations and survive against these Parasites or die trying.

Surrounding the parasite boss that is weak to lava, with a lair covered in lava, may not have been the smartest idea.
That is true. But it does make a cool boss fight.

The lair was covered in glowstone instead of lava, thus allowing the boss to properly adapt to damage, causing the end of humanity.

The story of Birdy had an extremely sad ending. It was literally the embodiment of "When seeking revenge, be ready to dig two graves..."

Got to admire birdy's persistence and righteous vengeance. Also very fitting how the parasite elimination squad were the ones to take the fight to the centre of the island to try to eliminate the parasites

The parasites didn't exactly have enough of a presence in this. They should have been a massive looming threat across the entire map, not just another type of mob.

actually the parasites do spread very fast and adapt to all damage after a while (only being dealt 1 damage and that 1 damage being healed) the reason it wasn't so strong is because it wasn't given enough time to adapt enough and they probably disabled some stuff

i played a modpack with parasites and after like 30 days I had to resort to incendiary missiles and flamethrowers because they just wouldn't die

The threat wasn’t dangerous enough. The teams spent way more time fighting each other than being scared to go outside.

This video has made me realize that the Anarchist Crusaders were the bad guys throughout the whole event.
The rest of the desert team had practically no communication with em, we had no idea about anything that was going on.
As an Anarchist Crusader, not even team snow knew much until later. Me and Aurinoth just met up to free our boi raventtv and to make an alliance with desert as in the previous event, there was tension between snow and desert because of a guy that left, and we wanted to fix that. But then people got scared of all the talk about the ice cult and things went down. Rip I guess.

It felt like the infection is pretty nerfed when the groups have enough time to raid and destroy other civs. Yeah there are some powerful strains here and there which resulted in some death but then again, you can respawn and the infection took so many days before it became a threat.
I thought it was a hardcore one life survival thing but I was wrong. I assume there's a respawn limit per person? Because if not, it's just a plain survival modded server.
it was hardcore when you hit respawn it spawns you into spectator they respawned everyone at the end for the wedding via commands

It does feel like they nerfed the parasites in the configs or something. They didn't seem to be adapting to the degree they usually do. Also didn't see anyone struggling with assimilated endermen lol.
@@ToBeFrank_. its using a parasite mod where digging adaptation was heavily nerfed and the enderman was removed due to there testing showing that the endermans attack power was to much considering how much it teleports and with the lag and delay it was impossible to kill them without 20 people dying to kill just 1 of them this was discovered on a test before the actual event and is one of the reasons for its delay as they had to change configs and do another test to make sure it wasnt impossible also i belive some of the empowered variants were removed for similir reasons however one of the really powerful ones got through anyway i hate the invis shitters
@@wolfdeathnogames5314 I feel like digging and adaptation shouldn't have been nerfed. I mean, that's what makes it hard. Removing the assimilated enderman I can understand but, the point of this mod is that it's very difficult. Having a lot of people + modded weapons I think it should have been doable with nerfing adaptation. I mean, they're still doing well enough that for a lot of it they're going around killing each other.

That was like a entire anime Birdy's friend had just been murdered by a gang and in his rage vowed to take them down so after following the group for a while he saw his chance and struck and as the last bullet landed he realized he won before gunned down with a smile on his face knowing they took his friend but he took there leader

Great video. But a couple points that I feel took the video quality down.
I don't think the host should part take in the game. It felt biased, and you over emphasized your team.
I think you should mention or show how many players are left on each team throughout the video. To give the viewer perspective.

For a Parasite Apocalypse focused video, it's lacking the Parasite aspect.
De_birdy did a whole metal gear solid mission on his own.
The fact that theirs actual guns and stuff instead of nonstop bows it's pretty cool
I was originally going to attend this event but the server kept crashing and the ip was leaked to the public, so instead there was a make-up event called "island vs island" where a plains and desert island fought each other. If you were the plains team during that event, you might've seen a guy building stone walls around the base. If you hadn't guessed already, that was me. Unfortunately I died to a creeper during that event. Sadly I wasn't accepted for the new applications for the parasite event. Glad to see everyone who attended had fun tho!

As someone who has played this mod for quite some time, it can be nightmarish and terrifying, and that's great. I once had a colony form next to my base, and one of the builder mobs placed a tower by my reactor's coolant pipes... needless to say, I had to relocate shortly thereafter.
